I listened to the video they are probably fake outraging about. He had plenty of good points.

It's easy as fukk to prove Rogan wrong. Every one of the variants we're worried about developed in 2020 when there was no vaccine (or when barely anyone had it) or in countries where almost no one had the vaccine. It's easy as fukk to look up.

Well technically, Rogan’s is kinda right, but saying it wrong.
The vaccine doesn’t directly cause mutations. Mutations occur naturally by chance. However, the presence of the vaccine in the ecosystem will impact natural selection in the original virus and the mutations that are resistant to the vaccine will increase in the ecosystem as the numbers of transmission in the original virus decrease making the variant resistant strain become the dominant strain the ecosystem because the resistant ones still have the ability to be transmitted.

This is why there’s a new flu shot every year because viruses adapt to the environment just like organisms. Same thing with pesticides, that’s why they have to make stronger pesticides every couple years because the resistant “pests” become the dominant mutation and a new pesticide has to be created to combat the resistant pests. And so on and so forth.

Harsh to say, but If we just let everyone whose supposed to die, die through natural selection there would be no need for a vaccine and no emergence of a variant to then therefore need a stronger or booster vaccine . And the human population will be stronger as a whole because of it.

The flu changes every year regardless of whether there are any vaccines - that was already happening long before anyone was taking flu vaccines and continues to happen even in places where folk don't take vaccines.

You're "if we just let everyone die" theory is bullshyt because what keeps the viruses from evolving to beat your natural immunity? Ask the Native Americans how they faired when they started getting hit by diseases they had no pre-existing resistance for and how "just let everyone die" worked out for them. Even regular-ass shyt like measles and flu was causing massive death in their populations. If we went with the herd immunity bullshyt you're pushing, we're talking at least 2-3 million deaths in America alone and that's BEFORE any mutations to become more deadly or to beat our previous immunity that might crop up.

Mutation is a function of environmental presence. The more you allow the virus to be present, the more you allow it to keep reproducing, the more likely you are to see new mutations. That's why 8 of the 11 named variants have developed in the 4 nations (USA, UK, Brazil, and India) where Covid-19 was spreading the most.

Dr. Makary Says Natural Immunity Is More Effective Then Vaccine Immunity

Dr. Marty Makary, a professor at John Hopkins School of Medicine, during an appearance on The Vince Coglianese Show, said individuals formerly infected with COVID-19 are seven times more likely then vaccinated people to fight off the virus.

“It appears that natural immunity is better against the Delta variant. When you get infected with COVID, your body’s immune system develops antibodies to the entire surface of the virus,” Makary said. “Not just the slight protein that the vaccines gives you, but the entire surface. And so you get a more diverse antibody portfolio in your system.”

Makary said data from Israel revealed that natural immunity appears to be 6.7x more effective than being vaccinated when it comes to fighting off COVID-19.

“One of the great failures of our medical leadership has been ignoring the half of America with natural immunity, which is the half of non-vaccinated folks.”
