What if these nikkas had made it into the game before this was discovered ala KD? What if someone else does that and we don't find out until the 3rd quarter? You straight putting your top 20 players, the nikkas that people tune in to watch and bring the big money in, at risk for an exhibition. And you are doing it in Atlanta of all cities

They paid hundreds of millions for the all star game? Didn't Disney pay billions for the NFL? We didn't have a pro bowl. Haven't had any all star games in any sport where hundreds of millions or billions were paid. How would you feel if you paid billions for the NBA and there was no Bron, Steph, Giannis or any of the other 20 most popular players for 2 weeks because of one exhibition game that you didn't even air?

Forever I love Atlanta 
It's part of the contract that they signed and stipulated along with TNT. They both overpaid for the rights more than any other network was offering at the time. The players could have said no to having the All Star game if they wanted to, but didn't want to lose the revenue that came along with it.
That's on them and their NBAPA President.
