He's already done it before in 2018. It was an orbital fracture and he played against the Heat:hubie:

Wasn't he out for like three weeks before the appearance and missing the first two games of the series?

At best he's coming back in game three or four imo.

I wanted to smack Philly at full strength to get some respect but I guess we got to wait until Boston.

Very sad when it happens to people that are that good.

I wonder when certain sports fans started being so cold and laughed at players whose careers were ruined by injuries.
Is it around the same time rappers started making songs dissing their dead opps? :jbhmm:
:russ: Nah, it’s not that deep… Embiid is just an unlikable, goofy son of a bytch fakkit

:comeon: All the shyt nikkas shytted on Dwight for, c00nbiid is that and more but fans loved that shyt for a minute but nikkas is fickle, it is what it is at this point

He might be unlikeable but happy over injuries never sat right with me unless it’s like Riley Cooper or whatever his name was or like that c00n in Orlando who was anti protesting for black lives

Yea, good as Shai, Jokic, Gianns and Luka are.. Embiid had a higher ceiling than them and was scratching that ceiling 2 years ago. Through 38 games of the '24 season... 35/11/5 on 53/38/88 shooting... 34 PER. At that moment he was the best player in the world (or best *regular season player, for those who get triggered) and on pace to have one of if not the best season of the modern era.

Though that will be the lasting frustration with him: Puts together these monster regular season stretches, then gets injured... limps into the playoffs, then re-aggravates injury, proceeds to get bounced out by a lesser star amidst an inexplicable string of events.

When players started talking out they ass in the media. :yeshrug:

When players agents tried to start a hype campaign around their return and they just ended up injured again.

When sports "journalists" realized hot takes and mocking players created more engagement, this earning them more money and job security.

Tryna correlate it to rap music is lazy and very cac like, racist type shyt

you might just be slow. It has nothing to do with rap. Same time, i.e. the scope and only dimension here is time. Again, for the people in the back, I did not ask for the reasons.

But when you now bring it up, I’m starting to wonder if world is just colder due to the internet. I see it everywhere, news articles about influencers getting hit by cars, NFL athletes having brain damage, injuries, death, presidents getting shot etc. All jokes and memes.

But to get back to my original point, when was this change in sports
