Trump is responsible for botching the response to COVID, but he didn't cause it. It would have spread across the globe regardless of who was in office. The War in Iraq was caused by the Bush Administration and they knowingly lied about it to get people on board. Nixon and Kissinger knowingly sabotaged peace talks to end the Vietnam War and 1.5 million people died during his tenure. So no, COVID does not "beat them all". I don't even know if it's the worst thing Trump has done in office.

this is obviously true. trump botched the response but the virus was gonna hit us anyway, and NO POLITICIAN would have proposed a shutdown until the first deaths hit

so of course we could have been better prepared and had a better plan, but the idea of that being worse than the calculation to start the war in iraq is laughable

I think Biden won the election with the debate. Unless something major happens in the next month (and such a scandal would have to be bigger than covid, the poor economy and social unrest), Biden will be the 46th President of the United States.

After '16, nothing will surprise me. Our society is even more microwavable than it was four years ago as it relates to the news cycle. We all can talk about a 1000 ways biden will win but I cant underestimated the "bradley effect" because that's what got him elected the first time.
