I kinda feel like I gave this an unfair shot due to post Tetsuo and Youth listening, but this is nice. The album's are way too different to compare for me. Kinda unfair to both in expectations.

Yup. Thing is, as good as this album sounds musically, Joey himself has no real standout or rewindable lines, whereas Lupe's album is filled to the brim with them.

Still, stores are selling this for $7.99 and you can't front on that price for what you're getting and that why I copped it.

Yea. That's how it felt when I first listened to the album (again after listening to T&Y). Like nothing was wack, but it felt consistent almost to a fault like rhyming wise since verses ain't really standout. Both albums kinda hit people's preferred niches and then they're coming out on the same day making for the comparison.
