10's of millions:heh: get fooled by big QB contracts brehs

John Abraham signed with Atlanta for $16 million and Arizona for $4 million, that's just base, not counting bonus or any other incentives. He also signed a big deal with the Jets back in the day.

That's 10s of millions, you dumb fakkit :beli:

That's not much of an exaggeration, considering the link between football and CTE :yeshrug:

I played JV for 1 year, thought all the practicing was ass and hated how the game flowed and I was actually better at it than basketball.

I love boxing just as much as I love basketball, but there's zero chance I let my son get into it professionally.

Never seen you post in the ring you coward :hmm:

I wanna feel sorry for these cats but I can't. They keep playing after the symptoms start to appear.
I do think that brain scans for every player, from practice squad on up, should be mandatory at the beginning of the season and at the end of the season. Independent doctors should do it and the league should pay for it. And the player should be shown them so they can see if they wanna continue playing or not. I think that's the best they can do
The NFL don't want comprehensive records on the damage the game does to your brain :pachaha:

That'd be damning.

Does every single player in the NFL make 10s of millions? Obviously not, but the MINIMUM base salary of an NFL player is nearly $500k per year, which is damn near 10 times the income of the average american.

That's just for one year, but nobody out here gettin permanent brain damage from playing one game, or one week, or one year of football. All these dudes talmbout brain damage got YEARS of service in the league. Abraham played 13 years. If you were to play 13 years in the NFL, making the MINIMUM base salary every year (which is basically impossible, if you play that long you're gonna sign a big deal at some point), you would still be in the 10s of millions of total career earnings JUST based off the salary. Not any bonuses, incentives, endorsement money, etc.

So again you simple-minded fukkboy, the guys that put in a decade of service in the league and wind up all fukked up will have played long enough to easily make 10s of millions.
