i'm at a loss brehs. how do we prevent them from b*stardizing MLK's legacy? they have the freedom to say what they want and have the mainstream media to get their message out and i can't come close to matching that. it's at the point where MLK day just drives me crazy because of people like this racist cac who is viewed as a legitimate voice talking that bullshyt and then you have clowns like barkley fixing their c00n lips to say shyt like MLK didn't about black rights. i now hate the MLK day nba game on TNT.

fukk man.

Sounds like the cacs in St. Louis in 2014 who told the Ferguson protestors who rightfully burned the cac flag that they should be grateful for not being slaves anymore.

The entitled cac mentality is unparalleled.

Were you out getting firebombed in busses, getting bashed with crates, and getting your head split open?
Why isn't he allowed to have his own perspective on humanity?
MLK said he was fighting for his oppressors as well.

I've repeatedly made my stance clear on MLK/Rustin groups.
As for Lewis, I wouldn't let someone talk shyt about me and say I love them and love them while they are attacking me, let alone let it get physical.
John Lewis made his bed, he needs continue on with that retarded loving the people he bust your head open bullshyt.
He is a problem.

dont worry what cowards says or think, the Truth stands on its authority alone.

and Truth separates itself from fiction every time

Everyon needs to read MLK's actual essays

not only will it preserve the truth

but itll show the genius of MLK. The man was a literary savant. :wow:

john lewis said he loved the cop who was beating his ass, so fukk John lewis

John Lewis was on the front lines getting it done while you're an internet warrior constantly caping for The Man.

He has the right to feel how he wants to feel about his opposition, because HE is fighting the opposition, not acting obedient to the profiteers.

Jesus was all about loving one's enemies. MLK Jr. was all about loving his enemies. If John Lewis wants to love his enemies, that's HIS business until you've put as much on the line going to battle with them as he has.

John Lewis was getting his head beat open and saying he loved the man beating his head open, before I was born. So what, he is a fukking idiot and him loving the man busting his head open is a testament to that fact.
He has the right to feel how ever he want, and I have the right to say he is a damn fool.
I'm not a christian and I'm not a proponent of the MLK/Rustin strategy or objective.

The proof is in the pudding. He's an icon because he was a major player in a SUCCESSFUL movement that changed the world, while you're an internet warrior who is constantly caping for the corporate status quo and you're not even good at it.

Show you can outperform him with your strategy, instead of just begging libertarianism/capitalism/supply-side economics and the invisible hand to do it for you.

I would question the successfulness of their movement, but that said, him being a icon means nothing.
He is a man who said he loved a man who cracked his head open and he loved him while he was doing it. Those are the thoughts of a man mentally impaired or who is a fool.

If you don't have a clue what love is.

And it is quite obvious to the entire world that Dr. King and Gandhi, among others, were brilliant strategists and capable leaders. You've argued yourself into a corner already - you claim that the only reason someone would do that would be if they were mentally impaired or a fool, but men like John Lewis, Dr. King, and Gandhi clearly aren't mentally impaired or fools, therefore you have exposed yourself as being ignorant of the topic at hand and unable to understand the motivations of the men discussed.

Among other obvious clues, mentally impaired people usually aren't remarkably effective. The love of one's enemies, even when they were doing things far worse than cracking heads, was the predominant feature of Jesus and his followers in a Christianity that spread from one prophet in a Roman backwater to the predominant faith of the Roman empire before any of it's followers had used the sword to conquer a single land. It was a required feature of Gandhi's movements in South Africa and India that not only brought equality and then freedom to the Indian people, but triggered the end of overt colonialism/imperialism across the world. And it was an essential feature of a Black-led movement that ended Jim Crow and legal segregation in the South.

You can try to make a rational argument against it, with evidence. But for you to just dismiss it out of hand, when people from Dr. King to John Lewis to Nelson Mandela to Gandhi to Jesus and his followers were CLEARLY not mentally impaired or fools, with absolutely no evidence of your own, is a failure of an argument.

He put his money where his mouth was. If you're going to criticize him, you better come with something better than this weak stuff.

You can repeat Gandhi and MLK's name all you want, that you value them and were inspired by them means nothing to me. Absolutely nothing.
That you use Jesus means nothing to me, nothing.

Again, if you think its rational or intelligent for a man to love a man who was beating him in the head and bust his head open, more power to you, but that is clearly irrational to objective people. John Lewis is a fool.
