John Lewis was on the front lines getting shyt done while you're an internet warrior constantly caping for your White Capitalist Masters.

He has the right to feel how he wants to feel about his opposition, because HE is fighting the opposition, not acting like an obedient slave to the profiteers.

Jesus was all about loving one's enemies. MLK Jr. was all about loving his enemies. If John Lewis wants to love his enemies, that's HIS business until you've put as much on the line going to battle with them as he has.

Nooooo you fell for @David_TheMan trap
:snoop:

Don't let them deflect...the topic is about the comment regarding how Civil Rights Icons like John Lewis owe white people a thanks for ending slavery.
He doesn't have a defense for such comment so he changed the subject.
Don;t him bait you like that.

There is no defense for the statement, its stupid and racist on its face, but since John Lewis loved the policeman that busted his head open and loved him while he was doing it, fukk John Lewis.

You can repeat Gandhi and MLK's name all you want, that you value them and were inspired by them means nothing to me. Absolutely nothing.
That you use Jesus means nothing to me, nothing.

Again, if you think its rational or intelligent for a man to love a man who was beating him in the head and bust his head open, more power to you, but that is clearly irrational to objective people. John Lewis is a fool.

You can say the action is irrational, but then you have to define "irrational" to actually mean something...and adopting a strategy that was proven effective and continued to be effective obviously defies any meaningful definition of "irrational".

And you say that Gandhi, Dr. King, Jesus, John Lewis, etc. are mentally impaired, but you need to be using a meaningful definition of mentally impaired. And you can't do that, because they obviously weren't.

You are doing literally the same thing you do in EVERY conversation. You make a stupid assertion, you can't back it up, so you just keep repeating the assertion over and over with no argument or evidence beyond the thickness of your skull.

And, as Juse_Hedd pointed out, you are just deflecting anyway.

Yeah, you're right, I just know that there's impressionable kids on here who can get influenced by these dumb assertions and actually think there's a thought somewhere behind it. When he makes these ignorant assertions, I'm going to bury them then and there. But I'll listen to you and stop right here.

My assertion was my opinion an opinion I did not try to force as fact on anyone else.
You are the one who took offense after all the days of it being there and thought you were going to magically make your opinion of Lewis turn into my own. Why? I have no idea, maybe its the height of your own arrogance? That said I stated my opinion and my reasoning, and that is it, there is no argument and there never was.

Now go back to crying about about why I don't value the notion of loving someone who is physically harming you and why this is some how rational. I'll be sitting back relaxing.

Who should we thank for turning a blind eye to it for centuries? :troll:
I bet he won't address the Republicans turning their backs on free blacks during and after reconstruction. They'll pretend the nadir of race relations in this country was a figment of our imaginations and just a "simpler time" in American history....
