You know what's unfair? Penalizing successful teams for all of the investments they make in amateurs to eventually become professionals at no cost to the student (since we're only talking three D1 sports to some of you all with the blinders on)

I've already suggested scholarship reform to address injuries.

I've already suggested injury insurance reform

I've suggested going pro at younger ages.

I've even suggested giving non-academic payment in exchange for not being eligible to get a degree.

But I do not find any need to cut these kids into the pie. Not at all. Suck it up.

Amateur sport endeavors exist to develop talent or serve as an extracurricular activity.

You have the popularity of a handful of sports all the way fukked up.

Agreed by Napoleons logic we need to take all money out of college sports everyone can attend the events for free the refs coaches training staff commentators all the support people should no longer get paid and should pay back the money they have received all of it should go to the kids education.

Coming into a successful franchise doesn't mean you automatically get to rise to the top and garner all this recognition.

Pay your dues.

This team was here before you and if you don't fukk up it will hopefully be there after you.

And if you're good enough you'll go on to do something greater in the Pros.

I don't understand this entitlement where you all think that these AMATEURS deserve payment merely because in the course of their development that they deserve to get paid because their sports are popular. This is the same insanity as to why high school kids don't get paid.
