You know what's unfair? Penalizing successful teams for all of the investments they make in amateurs to eventually become professionals at no cost to the student (since we're only talking three D1 sports to some of you all with the blinders on)dude, its unfair no matter how u slice it. i had a whole long ass reply but its a waste of time. u cant just make millions off of a group of people and set up rules where they get suspended or lose their scholarships just for trying to make a few pennies off of their own work. if you going to exploit these kids for millions and not give them a piece of the pie, u an a$$hole piece of shyt. fukk, at least let them make their own damn little pies off the leftover dough. fukk the "integrity of amateur sports" bullshyt. its just greed.
I've already suggested scholarship reform to address injuries.
I've already suggested injury insurance reform
I've suggested going pro at younger ages.
I've even suggested giving non-academic payment in exchange for not being eligible to get a degree.
But I do not find any need to cut these kids into the pie. Not at all. Suck it up.
