i understand the dilemma for colleges though. how much do you pay? does the benchwarmer get the same compensation as the star ? what about student athletes whose sports dont bring in as much revenue ? do you pay them? they probably put in just as much time as football and basketball players.

they should try to figure something out though. being paid in an education is kind of a joke, especially with the diminishing value of a degree.

Have you seen the degrees some of these cats get though? You got UNC creating an entire degree program to keep athletes eligible for crying out loud.

I know you can't pay thousands and shyts to cats, but even a couple of hundred dollars stipend and the ability to make money off their likeness is a start.

This is not hard to figure out the best most popular players should get paid the most they can sign contracts just like the pros if they can figure out how much to pay the training staff coaches etc etc they can figure out how to compensate the players as well. The student athletes that don't generate money should not get paid.
