I won't cape for the statkeeper because it's the NBA with video, multiple angles, multiple people etc. But statkeeping a fast paced game is HARD.

I did it for a D1 Women's Basketball game once and I was just the person calling out what happened. Someone else input the stats, essentially I was play by play but the final determination of a play came down to my eyes and judgment.

So in order for the stats to be kept accurately I had to call it a certain way (i.e. missed layup white 23, rebound red 30) and that's a simple play. Imagine a fast break or multiple turnovers, plus the person inputting is asking "was that a block or deflection?" and I had to pay close attention for every single thing. So I know for sure there were some fukkups on my part lol

this like the 3rd time i've quoted my post about statkeeping, but it was from the JJJ thread from last year lol.

I have absolutely no problem discrediting John Stockton career.

He's nothing but a human filth who believes in dangerous conspiracies. He's the worst of the worst. Him and his p3do teammate Malone. Both of them were regular season performers who underperformed in playoffs significantly. Several early playoff exits against some very so so opponents.
