If Lebron never gets tired then let that be that. Lebron James is an ongoing conversation as the best to ever do it. No point in bringing his name up as some sort of referendum against Wall, Westbrook or anyone else
Can't forget at 26 LeBron had terrible coaching and was gassed against the Mavs. At least that was until the finals, but still..

When you're tired, chasing the opposing teams best perimeter player around screens, and still run the offense this happens........when you're not in great shape. Not enough to endurance to go off the dribble, not enough confidence in the jumper.

Bron bounced back and got in better shape (better game) the next year. Up to Wall to do the same.

I still think Brooks could have helped Wall by simply having Oubre in the game to guard Thomas. Put Wall on Smart and he probably has more energy to close the game. But hey...Superstars gotta rise above fukkery. Hopefully Wall learns from it.

Is that the going excuse for the 8 pt game now? Lmao. Who was Bron's assignment that he had to chase around?

They had him chasing Jason Terry off screens.
Just was saying how LeBron had his 4th Qrt issues at 26 which I believe were from not the greatest shape, lack of trust in his jumper and poor usage from his coach imo.

8 point game was him just being bad all game.
Not trying to go off on another tangent breh. Lets keep this about Wall :whoa:

You act like Russ and Bron don't log in heavy minutes in these crucial games.

I get it: the Wiz have no bench depth and Wall and Beal had to log in extra minutes. However, there's no reason why Beal is able to kick into another gear in the 2nd half while Wall falls from the face of the planet. Wall looked like he was gonna die on the court.

No way in hell is that man the best PG in the East.

bron is a whole other story as he's in the GOAT conversation while wall is not nor ever will be. but when russ logs heavy minutes (he has to do even more for his team to have a chance), he also fades off in the later stages of the game in terms of shotmaking and decision making, very similar to what wall went thru.

there are a number of quality pg's in the east. wall is one of them. if you think someone else is the best, i aint mad at that :yeshrug:

Giannis has the same limitations as John which were clear as day in game 6 against Raps. His offensive repertoire was so vanilla and he was afraid to take the game tying 3. He will grow but I don't know about #2
He sure does, which is why there's no clear cut #2 in the East. I'm only putting him ahead of Wall because of how much impact he has on defense, whereas besides the odd block/steal Wall's is non-existent.

Wall went from 11th in DRPM at the All Star Break to finishing 57th among PGs.

Harden looked checked out since the end of game 5, Wall looked worn out from game 6. I did ask myself if Wall was even on the court at times, cause i was waiting on him to go on a scoring spree, and it never happened

Second half of the season the Wizards went from a top 10 defensive team to around 18th in defensive efficiency.

November was horrid, December-February fantastic and February-April abyssmal. They were 7th in offensive efficiency for the season.

Speaks more to consistency than anything. Wall got called out for his horrible defense by Brooks to begin the season in film study and he played much better but the bad habits built up in the last year plus came back.

The ONLY good thing about :wittless: was his strict defensive coaching.

very disappointed in wall.... lowkey bradley beal been doing all the dirty work to keep the team in contention during the game - then wall gets on his curry front-running sht when the team is within striking distance to take the lead....wall then exalts himself in front of the crowd to receive all the praise...I see why they don't get along

too many offensive responsibilities. teams need to start molding themselves like the warriors get a defender/shooter who can guard the best perimeter player. it allows your main option to take breaks. beal also needs to create more

Wall was 8-12 shooting when the Wizards had that 6 point lead. He had just made an And1 on the fast break I believe.

Look at this

Nothing, nothing at the rim. He also looked off Otto who was posting up Isaiah with great positioning to brick a shot in the corner.
