I'm one of those cats that believe athletes should be paid, but that ain't the rule right now.

It's risk vs reward. I never bashed Cam for taking money. We all know the rules and the penalty if you get caught. Johnny got caught. Don't be mad at the cop for giving you a speeding ticket if you was speeding.

I really dont understand his/his parents logic. They act like he's the first ever star college football player. Colleges, the NCAA, etc take "advantage" of every star player by selling their jerseys and anything else. It's been going on for decades.....he already trademarked the name Johnny Football.

I cant help but think his parents feel soem type of cism about having a black man(Sumlin) in charge of their sons team.

There aren't many QB's who are as talented as Cam in the history of Football if any at all. Manziel is extremely talented especially for NCAAF, now is he is stud NFL prospect? I am not sure yet.

I don't think they care. They just want Johnny success breh. They probably love him since he made Johnny the starter and helped him win a lot of games and a Heisman.

If A&M was still in the Big 12 he'd just be another run of the mill Big 12 QB at this point and wouldn't have won the Heisman. Not trying to say the kid is average because he is better than that, but to call him a once in a decade type of player is pushing it a bit IMO. Interesting to see how he performs this year. That OL won't be as good as they were a year ago, and the SEC teams will be more prepared to defend that type of offense.
