Goat college player of our generation :salute:

I think that this is just 1 big PR move by Johnny Football's dad. I think Johnny's dad is attempting to garner some sympathy from the public/media and take some heat off of his son. Pops is trying to put in excuses and give his son an "out" from all of this madness.

Think about it y'all, what father would throw his son under the bus like this? This was calculated and planned by people behind the scenes. Advisors/PR people are preppin Johnny and his family.

If Johnny fails next year or gets in more trouble, his pops has created this sympathy story/possible alcohol problem and has multiple built in excuses ready. So when or if shyt come crashin down, they can say:

The pressure is too much
-He's only 20
-He's dependant on alcohol to combat stress etc

Peep the game behind this shyt brehs. Its deeper than what u may think

I thought this was obvious attempt to deflect attention from Johnny Manizel's offseason actions. In the article, his dad all but said he wasnt a good parent that set bad examples and spoiled his son because his father never taught him how to be a father. Typical blame others philosophy that the elite live by. What the youngins like Teddy Bridgewater who grew up fatherless and poor but continues to be a model student athlete? Majority of college fans will hate the Manizels' for calling the NCAA on their pimping tatics
