Diondon
Thanks to the lawyers uh, I marbled the foyer
It is a way to make it in life, and truth be told some nikkas need discipline
Not for me doe
Not for me doe
It depends on youSo what are some of the best jobs be since I have like 60 college credit should of been class of 2017(went all four years just ain’t know what I want so I kept switching then my pops passed my senior year so I stopped going to take care of stuff around the house)
I was wondering if you could do thatBruh, I used FASFA AND military benefits. Probably took home double what you were. There are pro's and cons to everything you do.
Actually, I know a ton of people in the AF (black too) that weren’t in IT or intelligence doing just fine.Just have a plan breh. @Colgatebrah
Like a solid AF plan. The military will not hesitate to fukk you at the drop of a hat, so you need to be getting the max benefits.
Do not join just to have a job or get school paid for.
Down the line you will hate yourself if you pick a bullshyt job just to be picking a job.
Whatever job you picks needs to have high civilian applicability and a nice trajectory to commissioned officer or warrant officer should you go that route.
Do NOT LET A RECRUITER HUSTLE YOU.
DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST JOB WITH A ENLISTMENT BONUS. THERES A REASON IT HAS A BONUS TO LURE PEOPLE IN.
As far as the Air force goes, If you join and arent in Intelligence or IT support/cyber ops, youre an idiot.
Or if you're just about the travel and experience, go for load master.
Edit: if I could do it all again? Stay in college and do ROTC.
These military threads are always hilarious dudes always talking about getting brain washed
and I use FASFA and Tuitions Assistance haven’t even touched my GI Bill
. Come to my office so I can give you Combat Arms with a bonus trust me you’ll love it

We need to stop that myth, IT and intelligence isn’t the only way to have a career in or out the military.
Medical, finance, mechanics, etc
We also had finance guys at our command with TS clearances, basically doing our financial bullshyt. Most AF people I know stay in because of the quality of life. I don’t know a single AF person that has gotten
out actually unless they retired.
i would NEVER fight for this country, but it's undeniable that if you do the military right it's a dope fukkin move. doing it right is the hard part, probably takes some luck too with this orange shythead in office. but it can definitely be done

they do bruhFinance guys dont get TS at least in the AF.
But you are a correct about Intel/cyber.
I constantly recomend them because from experience I'm seeing these career fields getting everything . The increased budget, promotion slots, prestige, assignments, etc.
nikkas might even get stood up as their own independent command or even a whole BRANCH (the space force shyt trump talks about but he is too retarded to explain it).
And these career fields have horrible AD retention because of the "good problem" of guys getting out and approaching 6 figures off top.
So yea you can do medical, aircraft maintenance and finance or contracting or logistics and have a good mil and post mil life....but I'm seeing nikkas win BIG both in and out the military in Intel and IT.
.And ain’t no real black man getting brainwashed by the military
Only thing negative I go
they do bruh
I don’t understand why people act like I’m not speaking from experience... I’ve been in two Joint TS commands back in my military days. They were there
We had an entire floor in our SCIF that was dedicated strictly to finance guys in multiple branches
AF being one of them. They did zero intelligence work
And as far as Intel and IT, my point is most people aren’t going to like, understand, or be good at it. People throw it around like it’s simple for everyone. You would be surprised how many people I helped stay afloat in both A-school and C-school because theyreally didnt understand much OR couldn’t handle the pacing of the school.
And I finshed top of my class in both. Just saying, this shyt isn’t for everyone
Depends on what you’re doing and what cert you’re going for.
I'm assuming these weren't typical customer facing finance jobs and were probably special assignments/ low manned career fields tied in with base accounting for special projects/operations?
I meant typical customer facing finance which is what 90% of the AF finace does.
And yes I agree man but honestly I feel 90% of black folks in DO NOT challenge themselves and go into the first career field that looks cake. Or at least for the first enlistment.
I'm not extemely intelligent nor IT experienced at all and am taking a risk goin into cyber. From what I'm seeing the shyt isnt difficult, just requires studying and humility to hunker down and absorb the content.
As far as the AF goes, it pisses me off lowkey seeing alot of blacks in (mostly) shyt career fields like personnel, services, and maintenance. We can do better (story for another time tho).
Well you wont get the monthly stipend each month, but you will get whatever payment you don't use to pay for tuition. So if your classes cost 1500 then you will be pocketing 1500 from whichever benefit doesn't actually pay the tuition. You will also get your yearly book allowance.I was wondering if you could do that
Fasfa AND military benefits
Only problem is I’m going online so not gonna be balling that much unfortunately
You see that is part of the problem of why people can't translate their jobs to the civilian world. None of these jobs you listed are trash. Services(Personal Trainers, Project Managers, Hotel/Restaurant Managers.) Services isn't just dudes chopping up eggs in the chow hall. Personnel is HR, Maintenance......

Yea, i see what your saying. Your skills / profession speaks for itself.I'm all about ease of career paths.
I consider those career fields trash because *I FEEL* you have to be a go getter to finesse the civilian applications outta those career fields.
With IT and Intel, the transition is alot easier. The career path a lot clearer l...less "well what I can do when I get out?"
.
I can't even lie when I say that you and my recruiter are the only reason I'm living this life. I can't thank you enough, man. The fact that it's so many people who genuinely don't give a fukk about anyone other than themselves and I met someone online who took valuable time out of their day to help improve my life.
Thank you fam. For everything.
I came from a small country town where the large majority of my friends are going to be low-lifes or in jail constantly. To think that I was on track for that lifestyle and wound up in sunny San Diego.
Eating lobster for free and getting paid to work 7 hours a day while being literally 3 miles from the beach. I could've been another breh going nowhere, stuck in debt and in a deplorable situation. I know that I most likely will never have the chance to repay you, but just know, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is what the coli should be aboutYou’re welcome fam
It was nothing though. Glad I was able to help![]()
. Bless you brehs
