I've had a joint bank account for years. My whole check goes in it. So does hers (we make about the same money).

She's more expensive than I am - but she takes care of the bills.

If you trust your lady enough, it's a pretty relaxing existence when you don't have to think about money (I've had a good chunk in the 401k for years, so the future isn't an issue, either).

I don't know how much my cable bill is.
