Did not have fun seeing this movie, in theaters, but I respect it, in a sense. Saw in opening night, midnight showing, and just felt like grimy after watching, but not really moved and not thrilled, it was just like an exercise in pain.

Also, title is a good X Files episode

I'm guessing they are going with the October release simply because they had great luck with the October release before. Usually there ain't shyt out in October but horror movies and Joker fits that grimy Fall release shyt they're going for.
