Yeah its pointless sequel. It basically just rehashes the first film in a prison/court drama . With singing sets cut in the middle that add nothing or progesses the story. The musical sets serve no purpose at all, they do not drive the plot.

Movie was pretty pointless. The whole musical aspect was kinda forced and didnt feel natural. And pretty much nothing happened in the film. Literally nothing. And ending was random af. Aka Arthur is stabbed to death. Very uneeded sequel and extremely forgettable. 5/10.

I was hoping this would be good. I didn't like the 1st movie unlike most people. I didn't like the way that a lot of scenes were like "Look at how good this is". I also felt like Martin Scorcese was watching the movie like

I'm currently in the theater watching. I just said this is the longest stretch with no musical number...and 30 secs later...
I like musicals but these are forced and serve no purpose. So far this could've been a 30 min TV episode
