Yea, I'd fight Tyson over Jones... Its not even about being scared... its about who has the most tools and greater skillset.. And that's Jones easy

nikka,....
you must be stoopid.
you could survive an encounter with jones.
if tyson connects via a puncher's chance.

who has more muscle mass with more ferocious power.
plus punches at 900 psi walking the streets naturally.
with way more unbridled power, than jones has and will never be able to match.
you really think, you will survive that.

nikka puh-lease!

Mike Tyson could land 4 solid rips to the bag in barely a second.

By the time Jones grabs a hold of Tyson [approx. 1/4 of a second], I'd be very surprised if he were to land more than one significant shot.

you are either trolling or have never seen Mike Tyson fight. He has never been a brawler, he set up his big shots perfectly with jabs and body shots. Jones would get his ribs shattered if he clinched, followed by an uppercut from the pits of hell.

all you nikkas lookin at me crazy saying rampage arent thinking hard enough

rampage has the same style as tyson...probably hits just as hard, and is just as strong, but just doesnt have the same technique as tyson

hes also just as "angry" black man'ish as tyson...

but still got his ass handed to him by jones...

Jon Jones was having trouble with Machida's striking for a second... Tyson is a much more polished striker than Machida and has first round KO power on guys 240 to 250 lbs. How in the world does Tyson only have a split second? Jones didn't choke Machida out in the first round. Tyson is also way stronger than Machida and hits much harder.

JONES IS NOT GOING TO STAND THERE AND TRADE WITH TYSON. He's taking the fight to the ground ASAP. Also, just because Tyson's stronger than Machida, that's going to somehow allow him to stop takedowns and submissions?

Yes, Tyson is very strong, but that strength is going to be of little help when it comes to stopping takedowns and submissions from a world-class grappler (wrestler).

That split second that it takes Jones to grab onto Tyson is the timeframe that Tyson has to land something. If he doesn't, he's getting thrown on his back and finished.

I'm picking Jones to win, but what you're saying is f'n ludicrous.

Bruce Lee's little azz was in them Hong Kong streets fighting 5 on 1. I could see nikkaz arguing for Bruce Lee. But Jon Jones? :russ:

I said Tyson would beat Jon Jones :yeshrug:

I did say Bruce would beat Tyson though. The difference between Bruce and Jones (aside from their size), Bruce was a true master of the arts. It wasnt just a means of self defense or a sport for him...it was his life. A lot of these MMA guys train in it specifically for competition. They also emphasize takedowns, which is the last place you want to end up in a fight.

:heh: Jose Aldo would SLAUGHTER Bruce Lee in a street fight.

Machida is a striker. Why didn't Jones magically walk in on Machida and choke him out in the first round? Come on now. He was having trouble with Machida's strikes until he eventually caught him with a choke hold in the SECOND round.

Jones isn't going to trade with Tyson, but do you really think Tyson is just going to let Jones rush in and grab him?

Man what the hell?

Rampage could "maybe" be sort of compared to the post Clifford Etiene Tyson who was basically a predicatable out of fighting shape brawler

The thread is about prime Tyson who Rampage himself would tell himself you he didn't compare to
