this is pretty great, Cespy is a good (far from great) player who gets more love from HR Derby's and outfield assists than his day-to-day play. he never fit the A's high OBP philosophy, but did provide power. but with Moss, Donaldson and hopefully Reddikk back theres still power in the middle of the lineup

its basically losing him for '15 (headed for overpay in '16)for 2 months of Lester, risky if Reddikk or Coco gets hurt again but could result in a title

Yeah I agree with this he's good, but not great people overrate Cespedes and are going to really overrate him now that he is with the Sox. With that said there's no way I would have traded him for a rental. NO WAY

Thats very good but for comparison Jeter has a career 116 and hes never been a power hitter
And Brett Gardner has a 127 OPS+ this year

I still think Detroit is a bad matchup for them. Their two best pitchers are lefties and the Tigers basically have a completely right-handed lineup.
