Should have manned up and dapped Jordan after MJ did that to him the previous year. At the very least don't stage"walkoffs" after you get swept.
You don’t go to the media in game three and four and call the former champions bad for basketball on national TV and expect a handshake.

I’ve never understood these trash takes

Wasn't it confirmed that Magic had a more significant hand in the decision? Why is MJ getting blamed?
I think dude's name is Jack McCallum but he had a Dream Team podcast from when he interviewed all the players back in the day where MJ flat out admitted that he told them he's not playing if Isiah was there. From what I remember he didn't say his name outright but made it known who it was and the official assured him that Isiah won't be on the roster. Later on MJ tried cleaning it up by saying he didn't play as big of a role.

No need to sugarcoat it MJ called Zeke by name and lied when asked. Simple and plain.

“In the third episode of his podcast, "The Dream Team Tapes," author Jack McCallum released audio Monday evening of Jordan saying: "Rod Thorn called me. I said, 'Rod, I won't play if Isiah Thomas is on the team.' He assured me. He said, 'You know what? [Coach] Chuck [Daly] doesn't want Isiah. So, Isiah is not going to be part of the team.'"

It also implicates Chuck Daly which must be a gut punch for Isaiah.

Exactly, which is why if I'm not mistaken, Magic played a bigger role.

To be fair, Chuck Daly wasn’t his own spokesperson there.

At the time the DT was named zeke had the 3rd most rings after magic and bird. Jordan had 1. Theres no reason why he should not of been on that team.
Jordan had 5 straight scoring titles, 2 MVPs, DPOY, 5 straight 1st team all pros, 5 straight 1st team defense and coming off his first first title

he passed Zeke by point

The reason why they did this is because Jordan called the pistons “undeserving champions” and “bad for the league”. This led to the creation of the flagrant foul, and it’s obvious Stern created an environment that was Jordan friendly ensuring he would become the face of the NBA.

Keeping Isiah off the team was some real bum ass shyt. He was just as accomplished as his rivals and deserved to be recognized among them (the dream team was just a marketing deal and a coronation of the best players of that era).

Jordan sabotaging Zeke was a way to try to undermine his legacy. Could only imagine what folks would say if Bron pulled some sucker ass shyt like this:
