Jordan flat out said he wouldn’t play if Zeke was on the team. It doesn’t get any bigger than thatExactly, which is why if I'm not mistaken, Magic played a bigger role.

When the Pistons realized they would lose series, they stopped playing Jail basketball and started playing Penitentiary basketball. When they realized they couldn't intimidate the Bulls, they tried to INJURE them. The reason why they did this is because Jordan called the pistons “undeserving champions” and “bad for the league”. This led to the creation of the flagrant foul, and it’s obvious Stern created an environment that was Jordan friendly ensuring he would become the face of the NBA.
Keeping Isiah off the team was some real bum ass shyt. He was just as accomplished as his rivals and deserved to be recognized among them (the dream team was just a marketing deal and a coronation of the best players of that era).
Jordan sabotaging Zeke was a way to try to erase his legacy. Could only imagine what folks would say if Bron pulled some sucker ass shyt like that.

That debatable. The point remains, publicly calling the reigning champions “undeserving” is just as petty as refusing a handshake. Jordan was obviously in his feelings over getting his ass kicked three years in a row by Zeke and couldn’t hide the bitterness. When the Pistons realized they would lose series, they stopped playing Jail basketball and started playing Penitentiary basketball. Those type of fouls have no place in basketball, and THAT's what raised the penalties for fouls.
(Flagrant foul was in rule books already)
Even after enduring the cheapshots, the Bulls won the series and at least expected the previous champs to conduct themselves like men, not bytch ass cowards.

Wasn't it confirmed that Magic had a more significant hand in the decision? Why is MJ getting blamed?

The Pelican Bay SHU Program fouls by Laimbeer and Rodman?
You appear to be deflecting here. I gave my opinion about what Jordan was criticizing. I showed game footage of the playoff series showing the type of play. Commentator calling the game said it was indicative of how the Pistons played and possible referee actions. If he wanted to cry about fouls, they why not name names instead of smearing a whole team and it’s championship? I’ll tell you why: because doing so would have required Jordan to call out Bill Laimbeer and Jordan would have rather died than publicly criticize a white guy, so he just threw the whole team under the bus because deep down he was really just jealous of Isiah and his success.
Deflecting? I’m setting the record straight. Did you even watch the bad boy pistons play? Would you say players like Dumars and Thomas were the same kind of cheap shot artists as Laimbeer was? So why would Jordan essentially say a player like Dumars was an undeserving champion? You appear to be deflecting here. I gave my opinion about what Jordan was criticizing. Cosigns what I wrote.

Doesn’t change that Michael Jordan and them was saying that the Pistons were undeserving champions while in the middle of the series. You appear to be deflecting here. Half of these dudes talking weren’t old enough to watch the NBA back then. It’s all about YouTube and reputation.Deflecting? I’m setting the record straight. That freeze out is a myth.Froze Em out during All Star
Every year Pistons won Mike shook hands
nikkax get swept…now they running off the court?!
Oh Nooo Baby![]()
Jordan stans are obsessed with rings so I don’t see how the criteria should change now.Jordan had 5 straight scoring titles, 2 MVPs, DPOY, 5 straight 1st team all pros, 5 straight 1st team defense and coming off his first first title
he passed Zeke by point
