:yeshrug: Stockton was a better player than Zeke at that point. Had they allowed pros in the '88 Olympics and they snubbed Zeke then, the outrage would be way more understandable.

 No he wasnt. Zeke gave dude 40 plus that year followed by Malone's elbow. Even without that you still have a null argument because Bird was completely washed up yet he was on the squad. Plenty of players could have been selected instead of Larry.

What y'all think Zeke was doing during the Dream Team Olympics?

Sitting across the pond from Barcelona, looking at his region's NBC channel on a TV screen, and trying to will Angola to an upset victory like

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again

Isiah should have everlasting beef with MJ just based off the fact MJ kept him off the Dream Team. Yes, I understand WHY MJ did it and I also understand nobody, even Chuck Daily, fought FOR Isaiah either. But MJ decided when that Pistons team didn’t shake hands that it was forever beef and Isiah should keep that same energy.

Like for what reason would Isiah really want to be friends with MJ or even Magic like that going on thirty years later? Isaiah made the 50 Greatest Players list. Isaiah made the 75 Greatest Players list. Isaiah kicked MJ’s AND Magic’s asses in their primes AND did it without another top 50/75 player running beside him. Isiah has the bragging rights and will go down in history as a top 5 point guard. MJ can’t black ball Isiah from too much of anything important league wise. Neither can Magic. So what validation does being cool with them gain him? If I were Isiah it’d honestly be fukk BOTH of them just like it was on the court in the 80’s.

MJ can’t do a career retrospective without mentioning Isiah and the Bad Boys and the “Jordan Rules” as their ultimate foe. Magic can’t do a career retrospective without mentioning that SWEEP Isiah and The Bad Boys gave him in 89. They don’t need to be friends or cordial to show respect for one another’s legacies

It’s unfortunate because you’d think they would’ve solved their issues but I agree. I lean more towards Isiah in this situation. If someone keeps shytting on me I’m not gonna keep trying to make peace. I’d like “yea you might be the GOAT but we fugged you up multiple times nikka FOH.” And if Chicago wanted to show more love to Mike over Isiah, all my focus would’ve shifted to Detroit 100%.

I don’t. I care about what happened on the court. Zeke could have not shaken MJ’s hand instead of the whole team if it was that deep to him.

Please. Stop acting like there’s a right way to do things. You sound like dude who is upset that Stacey King was a victim of this. :mjlol:

Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Phil Jackson as leaders of the team all went crybaby to the commissioner. They all were talking shyt saying a team was bad for the league. Not even the Oakland Raiders had other teams bad mouthing therm and crying to the commissioner and they were paralyzing niqqas. No one in NBA history did that prior to the Bulls.

No…one.

And now you want to say there’s a right and wrong way to shake hands? :childplease:

That’s bullshyt and you know it.
You guys make every excuse in the book because of over love for he can’t do wrong MJ, :camby:

"We actually liked playing like that," said McHale. "We didn't have any problem with the Pistons, really, until we got all beat up (with injuries). But their physicality never bothered us. I thought their physicality made us play better." - McHale on facing the Pistons

“ 'We`ve taken the Good Boy image and walked away,'' Jordan added. ''We may have complained about it and told the teacher, or whatever, but we never tried to lower ourselves to that level.” Jordan on facing the Pistons.

I’m an 80s head. To you dudes, it’s OK but for men back then, that was some acting brand new p*ssy shyt.

Yall dudes really dikk ride MJ while riding the wave of salty bigots who hated Zeke for his comments.

Men were men back then and handled shyt on the field of play. The Bulls took it to Secaucus and the Pistons not shaking hands because the pussies the Bulls were reflected a changing era where the league got soft.

The Bulls acted like brand new pussies. I know a lot of you do that used to that because that’s all you’ve grown up around but I know what life was before that. That shyt was soft as fukk.

TYRONE GA!
only thing i dont love is sometimes it feels like zeke was the only one punished for being an over-competitive a$$hole. i understand why. but mj, bird and magic were every bit as ruthless when it came to winning a chip, and they're celebrated for it.

yup

Stockton was averaging 17/14 with 3 steals on 60% TS the year the Dream Team selections were made. Zeke was 16/9/2 on 51% TS. Stockton was in his prime. Isiah wasn't. Isiah is better historically, but not at that point. Giannis got outplayed by PJ Washington in a game last season. One single game doesn't determine the better player.

Larry and Magic weren't there on merit, they were there for what they meant to the game historically. Isiah wasn't on their level in that regard :yeshrug:
