Jordan is famous outside the US. He is not a hero. He is not a near saintly figure like Ali is.
Jordan shoes are a brand of their own now, people who don't care about jordan at all buy them. He did of course jump started the brand in a mayor way. There's no old dudes in Egypt with a Jordan painting in their cafe. He's probably as well known or more world wide, but nowhere as highly regarded or loved.

Okay?
OP and I never said anything about who was more revered or saintly...
Jordan is more popular worldwide today than Ali.
There are no dudes in Australia camping outside art shops waiting to buy new Ali screenprints. Whenever I've been to Europe or Asia, I've never seen one person wearing a tshirt with Ali on it.
Ali is an
American and Muslim hero. He was an American fighter who was very brash, outspoken, and cocky. The OG "make em mad" athlete. He had flair and substance we had never seen before, and people loved it. And he was a public Muslim.
People in Europe, Eastern Asia, South America, and Australia couldn't care less about some American boxer.
