That article is very interesting.
And it's crazy how both Bob Johnson and Michael Jordan both were majority black owners and they both sold/selling the same franchise
That article is very interesting.
You, always talking about moving the Hornets to Raleigh

The ironic part about that is celebrities who grew up in NYC like Chris Rock, Jay Z and Mary J Blige would've made a ton of money if they bought up property and stayed in NYC instead of relocating to Jersey. Jay even rapped about it in the Story of OJ:It doesn’t surprise me. It just reminds me of what Chris Rock said about his neighborhood in NJ on one of his specials. There’s him (one of the best comedians), there’s Jay-Z (one of the greatest rappers), there’s Mary J Blige (one of the most successful R&B singers), and Eddie Murphy (one of the greatest comedians). Said they’re the only 4 black households in that neighborhood. His neighbor is a dentist. Not the GOAT dentist, just a white dentist.
Jordan bought the team in 2006. Stern retired in 2014. If he wanted to do it he would've done it.He definitely would’ve rigged a couple of drafts in they favor, if cle can get back to back num 1 picks im sure stern would’ve thrown Jordan a couple of generational players
What their property value could've been is irrelevant to neighborhood demographics. The ironic part about that is celebrities who grew up in NYC like Chris Rock, Jay Z and Mary J Blige would've made a ton of money if they bought up property and stayed in NYC instead of relocating to Jersey. "I coulda bought a place in Dumbo before it was Dumbo
For like two million
That same building today is worth twenty-five million
Guess how I'm feelin'? Dumbo"

Jordan has never really been that though. He's never taken social/political stances to hold his feet to that particular fire. He's always going to make the move based on his interests/business sense.Yall love to tell brehs to have 0 black pride and to not look at things through a collectivist black lens.
"He has other ventures like the Jordan brand" - some things are bigger than money.
Ok and their neighborhood demographics are irrelevant to them. If they had invested in their childhood neighborhoods instead of moving to wealthy white suburbs, they could've profited. And it's probably not as simplistic as the white neighbor just being a dentist. Either he inherited generational wealth or invented something pertaining to dentistry. What their property value could've been is irrelevant to neighborhood demographics.
