I find it funny that a bunch of posters who’ve never owned businesses a day in their lives are telling MICHAEL JORDAN to not sell one of his MULTIPLE businesses in the name of “keeping it black”

Newsflash people. If Michael Jordan was about “keeping it black” he wouldn’t have married a WHITE WOMAN. He wouldn’t sanction his sons messing with WHITE WOMEN. The majority of his business associates wouldn’t be WHITE MEN.

Michael Jordan has never been about “keeping it black”. Thats not his mindset. He’s not the guy anybody should be looking too as some sort of pro black figure. He let us know that back in the 90’s when he refused to endorse Harvey Gantt.


We should be saving smoke for black people who actually talk that pro black talk and we should be actively supporting those that WALK that pro black walk. Michael Jordan doing what businessmen do every day is lock & step with who he is. Let it go

Ok and their neighborhood demographics are irrelevant to them. If they had invested in their childhood neighborhoods instead of moving to wealthy white suburbs, they could've profited. And it's probably not as simplistic as the white neighbor just being a dentist. Either he inherited generational wealth or invented something pertaining to dentistry.

How are their neighborhood demographics irrelevant to them when that's what you found compelling enough to reply to?

There were reasons they didn't do what you want them to do and your reasoning wasn't enough 20+ years ago to sway that.
