We already know what impact Jordan has, but Iverson doesn't get his just due for the impact he has had on the basketball world. I see a lot of people shytting on AI like he is a bum and i think a lot of that comes from the manufactured media hate.

Cornrows - You had kids in Europe rocking

Tats - They were there before, but it was amplified once Iverson came on the scene

Shoes - I would say the 3rd most popular baskteball shoes after Jordan and Penny.

Hip Hop

Jersey sales - #1 for years

David Stern - He hated Iverson and I think the dress code was done in part to the way Iverson had these Suburban kids dressing.

In Dallas, From Cleveland
Lebron is much bigger than Iverson

I don't know bruh... its close

But when it comes to having a a cultural impact

No one dresses like Lebron or wear their hair like him :sadbron:

There aren't any signature Lebron move that kids emulate on the playgrounds
like Iverson's Crossover or or the Jordan tongue wagging shyt.

Its no diss to Lebron cause he'll probably end up being more popular but he is kinda of generic when it comes to personality

Lebron doesn't need a signature move....Iverson was 160 pounds...a lot easier to emulate someone like that.

yo watching that vid; i forgot about the league adding the zone to slow him down. He could've prob scored more points if he got to play with the same rules that :mjpls: did. Dont forget he was the face of nba 2k for about 4 years as well.
Its a damn shame dude didn't take care of his body; he could've been in the conversation with kobe about being that generation's best guard.

I don't see anybody who is on some anti establishment shig like AI out there. He was the perfect storm at the perfect time. Now all of the young guys wanna be hipsters and the whole culture has shifted. Plus Allen is the size of the average man, so it'd have to be a small dude to match him.

AI's swag is the DNA of damn near every player after him.

Cornrows,Tats all over the body,Excessive Armbands/Leg Sleeves,The Crossover,Connection to hip hop etc..too much impact for this to even be a disscussion.

Please explain Iverson's impact on todays game.
