The era of players trying to emulate AI is over thankfully. If any 6 foot player tries to play SG they are going straight to the NBDL. If you are short, pass the ball dawg.

nah. they'll just become combos. Westbrook (6"3), Rose (6"3), etc. Shooting guards trapped in a point guards body.

Iverson gave birth to a lot of these nikkas out here today.

lol @ anyone hatin on iverson. most the ppl in this forum probably bigger than him in size. why aint ya'll in the nba? u shud ask urself that q every day u wake up.

iverson was a god damn beast. one of the best pure scoring nba players to ever exist as far as i'm concern. dude was gon score 30 even if he had to force it.

he took his damn team to the finals too. didnt he have like a broken toe and broken finger?

man iverson played when the game was a lot tougher too. he was driving to the hole every play and gettin clobbered by big ass 7 foot centers. that shyt aint stop him. hed jus drive again n get clobbered agian.

one of my fav players of all time. dude was a certified g. and he practiced.

edit-edit: hell, i even see my name.

what's the CP3 controversy?

not so much a controversy in real life, but his comment caught a ton of backlash on here.

when asked about iverson, CP3 said that he loves jordan but allen iverson is the most influential player.

which is actually true for this generation. but half the people on this board couldnt fathom the idea and were  and started reaching for straws.

the keyword that you used is "hype".

when thinking about athletes that made the most cultural impact, lebron doesnt even cross my mind. if you think he should, then i dont know what to tell you homie. lol.

and that decision show was the culmination of the media shoving his free agency down our throats FOR AT LEAST 2 YEARS. thats why i find it funny how the media turned on bron because of it. theyre the ones that built that monster.

they even had a countdown on espn:snoop:

I remember him making that statement.

C'mon though, why people hold people on such pedestals making them untouchable to debate...

Michael Jordan never claimed or represented the average low income, hip hop influenced people, which makes up a large majority of americans.

Iverson had those people eating out of his hand
