Josh Allen has an MVP, is a year older than Lamar, but the media never says he needs Super Bowl to cement his legacy

You're being obtuse here breh.

You know what happened in those games. I don't want to have to waste time explaining it.

I can be nice and give you everything else in your post, but not this part
Question: has Allen ever had the opportunity to definitvely defeat the Chiefs? Meaning, the game is in his hands with an opportunity to put the game away? Has he ever had this chance in front of him?

Here we go with these intellectually lazy brain dead takes :snoop:

Allen plays better in the playoffs. His losses come down to a few plays against the Chiefs. His teams score nearly 30 points

Meanwhile up until last year, the Ravens had scored their least amount of points of the season in their playoff losses with Lamar.

And despite all this, most people still say Allen needs to get a ring if he's going to be considered the best in the league.

Its like some of yall like intentionally acting dumb just to argue or out of emotion.
Lamar gotta wear his struggles no doubt. His most recent L to the Bills was the result of a drop after he manufactured a comeback however. When Josh lost a close road playoff game he was GOATed and they changed rules on his behalf :mjlol:. Josh is also being placed over Mahomes by some and right next to him by many others. Josh is the first player ever to get the playoffs argument with empty fingers...not even a SB appearance. Manning got damn near an identical playoff passer rating as Brady and a 3-2 record versus him AND 2 rings and is still held up as the poster child for playoff falloff and failures. Hurts done showed his ass in 2 SBs and got a ring and still gets questions. Playing well in a couple playoff games has never been enough to make somebody teflon. We can acknowledge Josh's greatness and what he has done in the playoffs (in certain games) AND acknowledge the clear agenda on his behalf.

When did the bullshyt basketball rings argument infect football? Dan Marino anyone? shyt plenty of others

I get it in basketball somewhat(even though it lacks a little merit there too as well) but Football is way more team oriented and the meta changes damn near every season, it's way more about the organization than any individual player in the NFL
You play to win the game :yeshrug: let’s not start overthinking shyt

Yes

The last drive in the 2023/24 playoffs

Even last year they turned it over on downs in crunch time.

Because Peyton always had the best weapons of any player in the league in the 2000s, and his offenses underachieved

Allen gets coddled because he's overachieving with the Bills.

Name me one player Allen has had on offense betrer than Travis Kelce.

Name me one player Allen has had on defense as impactful as Chris Jones

tell me with a straight face that Tyler Bass is better than Harrison Butker

Tell me Sean McDermott is betrer than Andy Reid
Question: has Allen ever had the opportunity to definitvely defeat the Chiefs? Meaning, the game is in his hands with an opportunity to put the game away? Has he ever had this chance in front of him?
Yes.

2021 - he literally got a touchdown with 13 seconds left. His defense fukked up

2023 - he missed the throw (crhis Jones affected the play) and Tyler Bass missed the field goal. His defense didnt give him another chance

2024 - he got blitzed on 4th down, threw it up and gave his toght end a chance to catch it. He didnt. His defnese didnt make 1 more stop.

did he succeed? No. But do i REALLY need to remind you how Burrow and Hurts won?

Do I really?

Was hurts clutch in the super bowl this year? No - because he didnt have to be! because his defense wrecked Mahomes and Mahomes played like shyt :mjlol:

When Burrow "beat" Mahomes, it was mostly because Mahomes gagged. Burrow had a chance to get a touchdown late in the 4th quarter, but he failed and settled for a field goal! - just like Allen! - the difference is Burrow's kicker made the kick,

And then Mahomes and the chiefs puked on themselves back to back

Look at this shyt :mjlol:

You saw what happened the year after when they played again. Burrow didnt "beat Mahomes". Why?

That's my point. Its not even that Allen has been amazing, its that you are overrating the HELL out of Burrow and Hurts when their victories against Mahomes had more to do with their defenses + Mahomes choking.

Its not even debatable, its just facts :manny:

What kind of circumstantial framing is this? The opportunity to defeat the Chiefs started at 0-0 tipoff.
I agree but mu dawg Soul is basically saying Allen did everything possible to win these games, so that's why I framed my question that way.

Since you going this route, why stop at Burrow and Hurts? Do the same breakdown you did for those two, about Brady, and tell me how Brady won those games? 🤣 🤣

At the end of that, just post your TLDR summary: nobody ever actually beat Mahomes, everybody just beat themselves or had help from teammates.

But only right this after you itemize how Brady won vs the Chiefs too 🤣

We ain't taking nothing from these guys. Burrow and nem were down big in that first half and came back and won, somebody had to be the QB to engineer that win, at Arrowhead, no less.

Allen has never been down multiple scores in a playoff game and returned with the W. In fact, I remember him being down multiple scores at home vs Burrow and the Bengals and looking flat and shaky AT HOME.

We not taking that W from Burrow when Allen has been in the same situation, but this is my point. Yall grade Allen on a curve.

"He never actually lost a game, his teammates did. His coaches did." 🤣

Bro he's had multiple occasions to put games vs KC out of reach and win those games definitively. Don't do this.

The only real pass is the '21 AFC Championship. You don't score with 13 seconds left and expect to lose, not in regulation anyway.

I've seen Pat be down 24+ and come back and win playoff games. Every time Mahomes and Allen play and the game is in the balance late, it's Mahomes making the plays to win.

Allen has had the ball with the game in his hands more than once. Don't do this, g.

My Father in Heaven
The woke liberal media is never going to hold their guys accountable for their flaws- especially if they got the complexion for protection- Joe Burrow and Josh Allen might as well be made of gold to these dudes.

I’ve never thought Josh Allen was great and never will, he’s good- like Phillip Rivers was good but that’s it- if he’s so great why do they have to keep telling us he is instead of letting his play speak for himself? If you watch Josh Allen without the machine constantly in your ear telling you how spectacular he you will quickly see he’s just a good qb that has a size advantage over smaller DBs and safety when he breaks free for runs- I literally watched him steal a touchdown from James Cook against the Saints :stopitslime:

We all know what it is, the expectations for Josh will always be low not even because he’s white but simply because: he’s not that good :yeshrug:

While I reject the ringzzzz bs we cant act like its new. Marino been gone a quarter century and his legend has fallen massively in that time in large part because of ringzzz.

My thing is, if we gonna do it its gonna be consistent. No QB or basketball player on the level we are putting Josh has gotten by on "he had some nice playoff games" at this point in his career. Now if we changing that, then cool. But Lamar is proof we aren't. So we not gonna switch up just to be tender to one nikka.

Coddling is not a good thing and there is no rationale or justification for it. If someone is being coddled, thats problematic. The fact that you chose that word over "treated fairly" makes my point. Why is a grown ass man being coddled? You keep shifting the argument. Ringzzz doesn't care who you play with or what didnt go your way. Its a bottom line thing, or at least it was until Josh. And again, if this is a sea change I am wit it but it gotta be across the board not just to be tender to one nikka.

Lamar had 13 pro bowlers but nobody said he has a super team like Hurts with his 6 pro bowlers.

There’s a lot of different hypocritical takes in sports. Some goes against some players, some the opposite.

One thing is a fact though, Allen seems to get away with everything. Hopefully the same energy is kept now with this mvp.

We were down 3 scores against the Chiefs. We not giving the QB any credit for comebacks now huh? Yall nikkas some sissy ass fakkits. Talking sports with some of yall like watching reality tv with a bird brain hoe

Of course you don’t mention how that year we lost to the Chiefs right before that Burrow n em stomped Josh’s dikk in the dirt
