this is a 6-7 yard throw that is way more important to make in the NFL than some bomb because it's bread and butter of passing offenses that stretches the field horizontally and gets the ball to playmakers and entire screen game... a throw an NFL starting QB has to make 99 times out of 100. josh allen makes it like 70 out of 100 times. his accuracy is hot garbage.

Once again that is a total myth. Josh Allen is a very accurate passer. I've actually watched his tape rather than just taking some clown on TV's word for it. Josh Allen did not play in an air raid or spread offense like Baker Mayfield that affords the QB all these easy throws that help inflate the completion %. Josh Allen was almost always making big boy throws that were NFL caliber. His offensive line and receivers weren't great either so he was not getting much time to go through his progressions or his receivers weren't getting much separation. Also, he's a bit of a gun-slinger. So he would constantly be looking to make the big play downfield rather than taking the wide open check down. That is not an issue of accuracy. Its an issue with decision-making that can easily be corrected.

I can't wait till Josh Allen is throwing dimes all over the field in the NFL so that this myth is finally buried.
I never base opinions off mainstream media I watch scouting guys that breakdown the plays. He throws some of the most beautiful balls I’ve ever seen and then comes back and throws wild high or far. I actually don’t that’s bl he’ll be a bust but won’t be near a top 20 qb

He couldn't complete 55% of his passes in high school or community college....

Bust. Dude can't even throw screen passes consistently.

No its not. That some New England Patriots bullshyt or some stuff you see from college offenses. NFL teams are not throwing screen passes that much. NFL passing offenses are build on mid-range throws. Those 10-20 yard passes that are either slant routes, dig routes, and out routes. Those are the bread and butter plays of NFL passing offenses. And those are the throws that Josh Allen is GODLY at.

He's gonna rip apart the NFL and can't wait to see how idiotic you nikkas look for doubting him.

And I better not hear you say nobody could have seen this coming. I'm telling you right now I can see his ability to dominate in the NFL. And obviously the Bills see it too since they took him 7th overall.

Why do you keep doing this to yourself @Swagnificent :mjcry:

This dude is Boller 2.0 (with more athleticism)

My record is impeccable. What you mean why am I doing this to myself? I told ya'll Alvin Kamara would be the next Marshall Faulk and he's proven me right thus far winning Offensive Rookie of the Year in the NFL as a 3rd round pick. And I also told ya'll Jayson Tatum was the best player from the 2017 NBA Draft and he's about to lead his team to the conference finals as a rookie.

Josh Allen will be just another in the long line of hits I've made when it comes to predicting who will succeed from college to the pros.

Go back and look up Marino's college stats. They were not that different from Josh Allen.

It was also a different style of play than what is played now. Allen was playing against what will be vastly inferior competition compared to NFL corners/defenses in a winter city which makes it even worse for QBs with accuracy issues. Baker and Darnold will have the same issues to a lesser degree because they both have streaks of inaccuracy too, but games in Buffalo with a coaching staff that seemingly has no idea how to coach a QB (The Peterman/SD game was on the staff) + that same coaching staff getting changes with an OC with a garbage background + a FO with a history of not being able to get weapons up there + a fanbase with a history of expecting the worst means his chances of being anything other than a bust is slim to me.

If he had landed in Pittsburgh like your boy Dobbs it'd be a different conversation.....I'm far as I'm concerned Lamar is going to be amazing if he understands how to protect himself on the field because Harbs will protect his development. Rosen will be good too if he can manage to stay on the field because he's brittle as fukk. The rest? Meh.
