In all fairness, they tried to use him like a game manager. You can't use Freeman like that. You gotta use him like Flacco.

They should've been throwing bombs with dude from day 1. PA Pass and go deep. They got the WRs for a deep game and using them like they're Reggie Wayne. Al Davis was probably thirsty as hell looking at the Bucs offensive roster before he went.

Edit: I just don't want the Rams or Cards to end up with Freeman. Him + Fitz and Floyd = DANGER

Not familiar with this new dude at all. Gonna have to look him up a bit to determine whether he can be a factor.... That secondary on the bucs is probably the best thing they have going for them with revis baron goldson lol

He'll get a second chance somewhere else and be back to normal. He's a talented QB IMO.
Talented that may be but after seeing him these past two years this system that he is in or team its just not fitting him or his style at all.

Dude is gonna go to another organization with their head on straight and beast. Lotta dudes in here basing their opinions of Freeman by looking at Fantasy numbers. :snoop:

He can be a good QB but he hasn't had any sense of normalcy in the league. He's had nothing but shytty offensive coordinators who have tried to turn him into Alex Smith. Last year Sullivan opened up the playbook and he flourished, now granted he shyt the bed at the end of the season, but we've never seen that before from him. He was always a good finisher.

If we're talking about this season, he brought us back in two games only for the coaching staff to fukk it completely up. Yes his numbers were shytty, but winning matters, and our losses are on the coaching staff.

If Freeman is given a chance (you know black QBs are don't get many chances to start) Schiano will look like a clown cuz Freeman will be successful.

Not a Buccs follower, but from afar, it doesn't look like he's been put in the best position to win since Schiano took over. Seems like he had it out for Freeman since the beginning. Wherever he goes, I hope he finds success. While he might not ever be top 10, I feel that he has the potential to be a serviceable QB in the nfl.

I'm noticing a lot this schiano hate huh.. Ask your self this question.. If your qb was 1-9 last 10 games and has a 45% completion rate .. Would you make a change or keep on losing .. I applaude coach schiano for having the guts to make this change.. Most teams stick it out until the end on thier franchise qb .. Look at the jets last year.. Didn't the world beg for mark Sanchez benched when we all clearly seen him struggle.. Most coaches would stick wit freeman.. Kudos to schiano.. The defense is better than average.. They just need a game manager.. Run the ball and milk the clock..

Like I said, I haven't seen enough of their games to argue to the affirmative or negative, but there are some saying he's done just that. :manny:

Freeman was built for the vertical offense and that's what we ran last year a vertical offense. He's built for that old Raiders offense of going deep and keep going deep and that when Freeman flourished. If a team can run an offense that's a combo of the Bucs 2010 and 2012 offense

my brother, he did not flourish.

My brotha, when your offense consist of going deep, you're going to end up with a lot of incomplete passes than when you run a west coast offense. And it's not like he can't pass, before last year, his passing percentage was around 62% in his 1st two years starting. People were actually calling him captain checkdown cause of it, Sullivan and Schiano come in and had him throw it deep more their 1st years and they had success. nikkaz wanna say that all the losing was on Freeman, but look how many last second losses we had last season, 4 or 5 of them cause of the D and coaching:

Week 2 - Giants; We jump off to a big lead in the first half and then all of the sudden he wants to kill clock the whole second half and we end up losing by 7 at the end.
Week 4 - Redskins - We need a drive to take the lead, Freeman delivers it, but Schiano decides to try and kill clock and settle for the FG, RG3 kills the D and they hit a FG to win it.
Week 7 - New Orleans - We jump out to a 28 - 7 and Schiano does the same shyt, but we had a chance to tie it up, but that bullshyt force out rule got us.
Week 14 - Philly - We got a 2 score lead with 5 minutes left, he decides to run it 3 straight times twice and put the game in the hands of the defense eventhough our pass defense wasn't shyt last year.

I always thought josh freeman was just ok.. He seemed like he was a little bit mobile before and had some size to take some contact when he scambled.. But now his pocket awareness has dropped big time.. Any buc fans here.. Who knows tho I'm not looking at the game film.. But freeman def looked lost in that first game vs the jets when he took all them delay of game penaltys cause his mic wasn't working in his headset.. When things like that happen.. It's just a perfect time to see how mentally tough and smart your qb is.. He gave me red flags ..

Look at Schiano's game manager ways last year. It cost us 4 wins last year cuz he tried to kill clock and have his defense take us home and we lost to 2 rookies and blew 2 21 point leads. If your defense is ass like that, why would you put so much faith in them when they kept blowing games week after week?

The team he took over was trash man he did the best he could with that team.. Remember the knee down situation he had with Eli manning last season, after Eli light up the secondary for dame near 500 yards passing and he was like F that we are playing till the end and push the center over, that was a bold move not smart but bold and bold actions send messages smart or dumb.... He was changing the culture last season so he had to make bold things to change.. Tampa is so used to losing season in and season out that he's basically doing the Rutgers rebuild job all over again at the nfl level.. You guys forget that Rutgers is the FIRST EVER ncaa football game played .. And has been the worst team for eternity.. He made them relevant agian, i mean you guys like championship coaches right but how can you not respect people who rebuild teams from the ashes. For anyone who played ncaa football on Xbox or play station tell me it's not a bigger statisfaction building a booty team and making them juggernauts then taking over # 1 bama(nothing against bama) and stomping .. Rutgers being horrible for a 100 years and having one the best high school football states in New Jersey is such a shame.. But he rebuilded them.. He is doing the same thing in Tampa watch..

From my experience playing football it's always about the next man up.. At every position.. So when u struggle u get benched don't take it personal that freeman got benched people.. Imagine if your fav qb put up his struggle stats.. What would u want?
