They don't get to claim Russell Wilson, and Glennon hasn't played a meaningful snap yet so no.

Reading thru this thread, it's obvious that Freeman's issues are more mental than anything. I just hope he gets that figured out and flourishes elsewhere. Dude looked like he had next just a couple seasons ago. And he's still only 25

He was on a great pace last year but those 2 bad games against the Saints and Rams really turned the tide. A dude can't luck in 25/6 td/int ratio one year and 4,000 yards and 27/17 td/int another year, the talent is there but if the coach ain't got much faith in you to begin with, what can you really do.

Tons of quarterbacks have had a couple good seasons then lose their job and become backups or worse

Charlie Batch & Seneca Wallace have made a career out of it and Jason Campbell is already on his was to being one for the next 10 years even to the point of being leapfrogged by the 3rd stringer, Not a bad position to hold. Putting Glennon out there seems like a mistake...he wasn't that advanced in college and seemed like a project...now they're throwing him out there year one with that train wreck of an offense?

Freeman is very, very average...but you might as well give him awhile and see if he can turn it around...punting on the season after three games seems pretty got damn extreme

Freeman's accuracy isn't mental...he's just not an accurate quarterback period...he was bouncing balls to receivers at KState as well...he is what he is...he's got a big arm but he's inaccurate as hell...and his decision making is very inconsistent

I don't know about a ton. The only ones I can think of are Jimmy Clausen and Brandon Weeden as of recent that can somewhat compare to the situation that happened in Tampa. The jury is still out on Hoyer though. I hope the Cleveland front office doesn't think they've secretly found the next Tom Brady.
