Panthers will have a healthy Benewikere and Boykin, so while Norman won't be there the secondary is not going to be trash. This probably puts more importance on getting a DE and CB in the draft.

Its an L because while he may be expendable based on scheme, he's still a top-tier CB; you just don't throw those away. On the other hand, their scheme doesn't call for a top-tier CB to be successful because they have one of, if not the best, front 7s in the league. They could easily sign Leon Hall after the draft and their defense wouldn't miss a beat.
