You can't just up and change universal terminology. It doesn't work like that in coding where one period in the wrong place would crash the whole system. The person who made this decision has no idea what hell they have unleashed on their internal it and network teams.

I'm aware.Its linux/unix terminology for master "job" or process and the connected slave "job" process

anytime i hear some talmbout a manager being a slave driver
