JR Smith looked into the future and viewed 14 million possible outcomes of this series. Out of all of them, he only saw one winning scenario. As he dribbled the ball and drained the clock, he looked at LeBron and said, "I'm sorry LeBron, it's the only way."

Dread it, RUN from it, Destiny still arrives

I don’t know how you can say this play in a series most agreed was doomed anyways, especially a game 1, is worse than C-Webb blowing a single elimination tournament game where you don’t have opportunities to make it up with later games

Because cwebb was still learning the game. This nikka a 14 year pro, a champion who earned a ring who's team run was its never over...forgot the score. Like thats literally one of 2 objects of the game. Any advantage a game 1 steal in oracle could have helped is gone.

Yeah, I didn't think about it like that. But I still think it's worse for C Webb, obviously because JR Smith and the Cavs still have opportunities to win the series, whereas C Webb cost them a single-elimination game.

Imagine the amounts of fukkery if JR pulled this in Game 7 :wow:

So Lebron can come to a team, overhaul their roster with players he handselects, and then when those guys fail to meet expectations - he gets to leave with no backlash or reprecussions? Got it. :mjlol:

I mean, its not like the FO are known for their personnel moves. Everyone clown Bron and call him legm, but to keep it 1000, they have wood to show for it otherwise.

Anthony parker, sasha pavolic, shot clock killer ricky davis, washed antwan jamison, just to name a few.

They wasted the 4th pick on TT and wasted a pick on AB. Kyrie literally fell into they laps cause they were trash that bad

Bron should've never passed that ball. That's a potential iconic game winning shot by Bron in that pic if JR's head was in the game.

I know we talk about the importance of making the right basketball play but sometimes hero ball overrides that notion.

Man that was a historic performance last night that got ruined by some bullshyt.

Ball in LeBrons hand with 10 seconds left, down by 1 at Golden State in the finals, and guarded by Steph Curry of all ppl...

What could've been :wow:

Just a sad situation all around.

I CHANGED THE TITLE

which one was the worst play of all time?

i voted for JR. :mjlol:

:hhh: J.R by far. I can understand C Webb or anyone else forgetting that they don't have any timeouts left in the heat of the game. :snoop:But this nikka J.R didn't even know the score of the game.:why:He literally was in the NBA finals and not paying attention to the game. If they don't win the championship he should be instantly released.

nah. Like what most teams do, both Green and KD was cheating at opposite corners of freethrow line, waiting for BRon to drive either way to doubleteam. That pass to Hill was the only high quality play to make, other than forcing it

I can't believe how much JR is getting killed today. shyt is crazy to me. He would've been better off not even grabbing the rebound.
