I don't have any problem with it.

I like our core. Resign Cope, KMart & hope that Prigs wants to come back. We just need a young big who can rebound and score in the post.

Same here. He'll be a bargain. Some of these niccas need to look at the scrubs on their own team. JR will be underpaid compared to some of these scrubs. Had a better season than Joe Johnson. :yeshrug: Jamal Crawford too.

You're really gonna tie the rest of Melos career to JR as his sidekick :russ: good luck with that

The only positive you have is that most of the contracts end in 2 years and you can rebuild then or if Melo has anyhting left get him some help this move would kill any chance of that

No possible way to hate it in regards to the players talent and market value. It's a steal for the Knicks if it happens. The only ways to look at it negatively is blind hate and if he truly remains the Knicks only second option.

That Was The Plan From Jump

People Keep Laughing About The Knicks Being In "Cap Hell", But The Plan Was Centered Around These Guys With A 2015 Expiration Date

People Can Disagree And Laugh At It But The Knicks DO Have An Exit Strategy

They don't hear you though. I trust Grunwald, personnel wise, we need minor adjustments.

I'm confused. how does chris smith fit in here? are they saying without specifically saying that JR is gonna give the knicks the home town discount if they agree to pick up his scrub brother to ride the bench?

btw, $5M a season is a good deal for the knicks to get JR. that's a good signing at that price.

I understand Jr had a horrible playoffs but it's really nothing else the knicks can do. You can't rely on amare as a second option right now because of his health.

Jr just gotta get his head right.

And honestly even with Jr playing horrible if Melo and Chandler played as good as they should have the knicks would have gotten past the pacers

The Only Decent Free Agent Options I Can Think Of At SG Are Marco Belinelli And JJ Reddikk

Our Hand Is Kind Of Forced.

If A Free Agent 6th Man Of The Year Is Willing To Take Such A Pay Cut You Kind Of Have To Take It, There's No Other Options Out There, Unless We Work Some Kind Of Trade We Really Have No Other Options To Replace JR

JR leaving is addition by subtraction. He already imploded on an off the court. Him on a four year deal? Lol...

Let Shumpert pick up the slack and give other guys opportunities.
