NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
seems too descriptive to be untrue...

Ain't nothin descriptive about..."Melo and Bron are supposed to be friends but they talk behind each others backs but have to call each other on some he say/she say."...callin Skyler Diggins a hoe and sayin Kobe think he slick...a lot of that info would be impossible for them to know for sure unless they lived wit these cats or was in their brains n shyt...some maybe true but a lot of it is some hair salon gossip bs...

Nothing Is Official

2nd

If It Happens, I Dont Agree With 4 Years

3rd

Imagine The Knicks Are Locking In JR So They Have A Valuable Trading Piece In Their Pocket, JR Could Have Gotten More Money In Free Agency

Need Scoring Off Your Bench? We Can Give You The 6th Man Of The Year For Below Market Price :skip:

You were right all the way up until that point. THen again what do you mean by "Good money"?

Noone was going to overpay for J.R. Smith. He would have gotten a good deal which he deserves as he's shown he has plenty left in the tank for 4 years. The problem for the Knicks is JR is their 2nd scoring option which is a situation you dont want to be in. He's a good 3rd option and should probably start but seems like the bench role worked to his advantage

I think this is a bad move on the Knicks part by resigning JR, he is not going to change his ways and get better, he does not have the desire to become a champion, also the catering to Carmelo has to stop, if you they want to win championships, get him role players that can benefit the team and not him personally, get rid of K. Martin, he is too old and takes up a roster spot. Get rid of Jason Kidd also, my keys to a title, get a better coach who commands the respect of the team and is better at enhancing the strengths of his players and reducing the weakness of the team, stop shooting the 3 and drive to basket more and get those fouls turned into points, 3rd get players who want to win and be on twitter and in the clubs like they won 3 championships in a row.

I Never Said Overpay

Like I Said Earlier, The Knicks Giving Him 4 Mill A Year, He Could Have Gotten 6 Maybe 7 A Year Somewhere Else

Now Lets Say Im A Team That Knew JR Was Gonna Be A Free Agent, Coming Around Asking For 8-10 Mill And I Anticipate Negotiating A Deal For 6-7 Mill A Year

Well shyt Now If I Talk To The Knicks About A Deal I Can Get Him For 4!

A Deal JR Was Not Willing To Give Any Other Team BUT The Knicks

As Far As A Second Scoring Option, That Role Fell Into His Lap When STAT Went Down And No One BUT JR Stepped Up, We Didnt Sign Him For That Purpose, It Wasnt Part Of The Plan

The Knicks Are In A Spot Where They Will Have Things to Work On, Keeping JR Should Not Be Dusting Off Your Hands And Saying "Ok Job Done, Good Off Season" It Should Just Be Securing A Bench Guy At A Cheap Rate

You still have some question marks tho.

  1. Will Amare ever get back to form? He's looked decent in limited minutes but can he give you all star Amare play when playing 32+ mins a night?
  2. So you have a nice trade bait in JR Smith. If you do this deal early, then good. If you wait til later you have to recall that once a deal is signed said player cannot be traded for at least 7 months. So start counting back 7 months from the trade deadline. That will tell you when you should force him to put pen to paper. But sign him too early and you cannot use his cap room to sign other players. Remember team often try to resign their own players last because you can use their cap room to sign others and then since you own their bird right, bring them back even when at or over the cap

yeah, but at the end of the day. He is top 3 six men. You cant do much better that this.

Knicks have other problems. Starting with the Front line

I know . People are acting like we have someone to fulfill his role him and melo and amare if healthy are the only real scorers everything else is a crap shoot we can't afford to lose him and have amare or melo miss any games

JR Smith might be one of the best Sixth men around, but he's still gonna likely be the Knicks's second most reliable scorer. That's not good.

Woodson doesn't hold players accountable? :orly: :stopitslime:

Woodson, overtook Byron scott as the lead coach hater of the league
Duke is the most hate filled coach in the league.
The reason his teams lose is he hates on players.
fukk that clown!

I think dantoni overplaying amare for that year really took its toll. Sadly I just don't think at this age n miles he can fully recover. Same goes for Kobe. Oh they will play again but they won't have that explosiveness
