breh now that we grown the majority of shyt is corny looking back :russ:

funny part is most of these guys were like my age now doing that shyt :mjlol:
Facts. I came to that realization young for some odd reason but yeah…when you get there the shyt is a little bit demoralizing, lol, like “Why was all this bullshyt the soundtrack to my life?!”

Yea so this never happened.

By the time Cam ‘fell off’, all of dipset and JR fell off. So when JR was in his prime, so was Cam. Wasn’t nobody listening to Purple Haze, Killa Season talkin bout ‘damn did JR write this’ :beli:

By the time people started whispering about cam fell off was Curtis era, Public Enemy #1, etc. By that time JR was an afterthought and got locked up around that time.

Again you’re trying too hard. This argument of ‘you’re irrelevant, you’re mixtape rapper’ is already corny, but it’s especially laughable when you’re comparing him to JR WRITER.

JR Writer was NICE. His style and punchlines at that time were crazy original. Also, Joe budden was nice af, also had punchlines and wit, but could ALSO spit that deep shyt and have depth, which is why he and JR Writer aren’t even in the same weight class as rappers. Writer is more known for hot punchlines, for his style, not songs or projects. He’s not a rapper anyone even ‘rates’, that’s not a diss it’s just facts

You're creating your own timeline. Nobody said anything about cam falling off that has nothing to do with my statement. JR was on Par with Cam in his prime for a brief period in time.. even if it was for 2 days out of 365 it happened.. People did speculate that JR was wrote for cam at one point, if you don't remember that then oh well.

And Joe Budden as been largely referred to as trash in the early 2000s. He wasn't spitting deep shyt when he released drop drop and pump it up. Once again you're manipulating the timeline.

Joe Budden didn't start getting that type of acclaim until I was in somewhere in my 20s even though he was out while I was in highschool. When Budden was at his height JR was irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but when JR was at his hottest Budden was also irrelevant and known as the pump it up guy

Jr writer types

Rappers who build their "base" around punchlines get corny QUICK....

It takes alot as a rapper to keep "fresh" punchlines...

It just begins to sound like a wack version of their primes

Joe always thrown rocks and hiding his hands
It didn’t even look like he was trying to shade him or be disrespectful on some a$$hole shyt tho in that clip…that was genuine real disgust, lol, that was a genuine ass reaction. Bro forgot he was even on camera for a second probably lol

The JR part is silly, considering Cam has one of the most unique flows/bars of all time. Like what are we even talking about. Cam is compared to fully fleshed out rappers who put out whole fully fleshed out projects. JR just raps. About jack shyt :pachaha: And this is coming from a JR fan. It’s comparing And 1 to NBA. Like let’s just put that angle to bed JR never in a million years compared to cam.

Second, you can’t clown a ngga for ‘only’ havin a hit when you never had a hit. Drake can use that argument. Not the writer of writers :beli:

Also is you an hip hop head or nah. That’s an angle I’d expect from a casual :patrice:

As far as ‘budden was regarded as trash’ just say you wasn’t into rap like that. Or you was young. Bc otherwise it’s a credibility ruining statement

XXL has Mood Muzik as the best mixtape series of all time. Doesn’t even matter if you ageee. The fact he’s in the convo——FIRST at that—- from an OG publication not no complex or Fader (he’s on their lists too), like yea what are you talking about :hhh:

My Pops Forever RIP
jr writer was nice for the era he came up in, problem is he never really evolved so now he just comes off like cassidy with the outdated flow/bars and its cringe to hear him still rapping like that in 2023 when hes pushing 40

but we not gonna sit here and act like he didnt look like a promising prospect from 03-06 :comeon:
and yall gonna stop using this as a reason to get your dipset hate off too cam is better than joe all-time go debate ya mother
Admittedly he still has moments where it does sound good.

I just wished he'd use better producers. He could stand to get some beats off Harry Fraud that would challenge his flow.
