Its not the style, it can still be done well, JR just fell off. I had the same reaction as Joe listening to those dookie bars

Both Buddens & JR were dope back in the day. They had dope & witty wordplay with immaculated flows...unfortunately, that style of rap has also dumbed down like the rest of the genre

Jr fell into that Cassidy "dated style" lane

Flip played the track purely because it name dropped him. They jokingly clowned him earlier in the ep because he thought that Westside Gunn mentioned him on his new one.

It was from the Upstage album JR x Hell Rell x 40 Cal dropped on the same night Dipset released the Diplomatic Ties album in ‘18. Neither were that good.
