Can y'all just imagine if rittenhouse was black, underage , crossed state lines with an illegal weapon and murdered 2 white men how the case would be right now???:hhh::stopitslime: that's exactly the point!!! black man would have been either shot at in the chaos by cops or at trial gave football numbers regardless...

This is how the white system of justice twists the narrative to protect white killers that murder people... why is anyone defending rittenhouse for regardless!!!???:what: lock his murderous ass in jail...

1) he was threatening to shoot them from the second he stepped out of his Mom’s car. Dude baited them.

2) Crossing state lines illegally, with a firearm.. combined with the screen shots of him offering his ‘services’ while being armed is textbook intent. And the carrying is a separate charge.

There really isn’t any way you (or anyone) can try to flip this. There really isn’t. But do you. :yeshrug:
I can respect your viewpoint. I'll be honest, I've stayed away from this topic and I tend to stay away from one's where there is a lot of emotions involved with the case but the case isn't clear cut and people are on edge.

So, I'm not trying to get in a back and forth about it too much but I think Joe Brown does a good breakdown of this critique at the beginning of the video. He mentioned the 1919 race riots but on the same note I think about the deacons for defense in Louisiana where black veterans and community members decided to stop the attacks by the klan on their community, they decided they were going to patrol the streets armed to ward them off. I support that 100 percent and I want to make sure that black folks can benefit from that right in the future. No doubt the justice system is racist and unfair, but let's say this dude walks free, then you have a much stronger case if a state decides to charge black folks in the same situation to argue for their right to self defense.

Like Joe Brown said, when youre the target of a violent mob, even if they were all unarmed, just by their size its a life or death situation. If there was a black dude being chased by a bunch of white men even unarmed and he popped them I would be fully supportive of that. Doesn't matter if he drove up to "offer his services" in "protecting" a business or said something. Once these dudes decide to chase him down and one of them pulled a gun on him, the dynamic changed in that moment.

A guy I know that does armed protests all the times to bring social awareness. Again, people protest all the time, armed, unarmed. It doesn't matter. I agree with you earlier saying the solution is to not perpetuate unfairness in the system. This isn't some act of "forgiveness" for Kyle but rather pragmatic. Someone that looks like us could be on that stand that was within their own legal and natural rights to protect themselves and we want the justice system to work for us even though we know it's flawed.

I also don't get why people are spewing the anti gun stuff. We used firearms to protect our communities as above. When Black Men voted, Black women used guns and rifles to protect us at the voting booth.

This book goes into more of the Deacons of Defense and Mississippi Freedom Movement. After Black folks served in WW1/WW2 they weren't going to go back home and be subjugated to White Supremacy after fighting Hitler on their own homeland without a fight.

This is what happens when you forget history or you let one group control it unfortunately. You have people call ARs

Anyone questioning why having xyz gun, why was that person there, or why did said person need a certain gun is anti-gun shyt. People like my folks above arm protest a lot and I don't want to see them hurt.

I'm just defaulting to what @Dr. Acula said earlier about if the trial results in an unfair or biased verdict (yes I know we've talked about potential bias of the Judge) then when it is comes to us on that stand when we have to defend ourselves we know it will be 10x worse. This again is not support of Kyle or his actions but rather practicality.

Dude will probably face some form of Civil Lawsuits. Guaranteed.

It will be difficult for A because they were in commission of a crime (drug dealing) while using the weapon.
They would still make the self-defense case but I think they would get charged and convicted for something.

Right. I picked that scenario because person A was already breaking the law before defending himself which I think (keyword think :whoa:) is kinda the same with this Rittenhouse psycho. I'm playing devil's advocate here because I'm not lawyer and I don't know the technicalities of all of this.

Crazy enough I think this is what critical race theory is actually about.

I'm going to pass the baton to a real lawyer breh @EndDomination

I swear to God nikkas on here are getting dumber by the day.:francis:

How can you nikkas not understand how chasing a man who has an AR15 was dumb as fukk not only because you are probably going to get shot, but because you are being the aggressor in the situation.:francis:

This situation is pretty much the opposite of the Arbery situation where it was the CACs with guns that were pursuing him.

Lawyers have been explaining this all through the trial.

Posters in here too emotional, can't separate their personal biases from the law.

Or.. they have extensive experience in how criminal law works in this country, and they're sharing what they know.. not what they think.

Every reason that you posted why you think this defendant is guilty has been dead wrong based on what the jury for this particular trial has to work with.
This is a self-defense case at it's core. He is not guilty of murder because he had a rifle and you think he shouldn't have had it. He is not guilty of murder because you believe he should not have been in Kenosha that night.
