Gege doesn't give a fukk about JJK he's about to drop that new series

Tbh, let's be real, I don't think Gege even knows how he even wanted to end it . To me JJK ending at Shibuya was supposed to be the main thing, and maybe the editors pushed him to continue with how well S1 did. I haven't read Demon Slayer or Bleach, but to my understanding the authors are essentially fleshing out stuff they didn't have time to in the manga.

With JJK they would literally have to diverge because after the Yuki-Kenny fight, where you had the army subplot, the whole Megumi sister thing led to Sukuna bodysnatching Megumi. It's clear this is when Gege said, fukk this. That shyt would take too much effort, and why would he do that? He isn't cashing more checks by putting effort into a series and a fan base he hates.

Tbh I get what people are saying about giving better pacing, but people do need to remember JJK still really liked JJK until the actual ending. MAPPA will probably milk this horse dry like AoT. It's confirmed to be a split cour, but don't be surprised if it's 3 cours split like Dr. Stone Final Season.

At best we might get some anime-original scenes that give the ending a better light if that is possible.

for a LONG time (and arguably still) the best MHA content and writing was in the non-canon movies and filler - and that author ended up incorporating some of that until the real run and the spin off after the fact. demon slayer anime gasses up a LOT of shyt from the manga that was straight up mid too. black clover, etc

this franchise is gonna get milked regardless - may as well let them fix the parts that need it.

We'll see breh. I just don't see Mappa taking over the series like that. I agree with @tripleaamin that Gege does not care enough about JJK (even less its fanbase) to put that much of an effort and I have no clue how Mappa could take the reigns over and re-do THAT much.

The AoT route is probably the way they'll go. Make it more enjoyable and make the viewer focus their attention into anything but the plot. Regardless of how dumb/lazy the fights might get, people will mostly end up with a "that was still a fun ride" feeling once its over.

I still laugh at the fact that Gege publicly stated he wanted the Culling Game to be about Megumi and his sister as the driving force and how badly he failed at it. You read that shyt and that relationship is like the 8th most important thing until the last fight of the arc what the hell was jreh thinking when bloating the arc with stuff that had nothing to do with Megumi?He didn't even do a decent flashback for them and it was supposed to be his main goal?

Off the top of my head, the main stuff that Mappa should expand on being

• Maki revenge in cour 1
• Yuji vs Hiromi
• Kenny vs Yuki
• Gojo vs Sukuna
• The whole dream thing with Yuji and Sukuna at the end of the series.
• Something with Choso as his bond with Yuji I really liked.

I think Megumi stuff is too big of a mess. Mappa should leave it how it is.

Now, for entertainment purposes, I need all the Hakari fukkery

Man wrote in the volumes with the power system he was winging it. Which I don't blame him for because the style & presentation is what people care for more. Look at Solo Leveling as an example of that.

The fact we never actually meet the sister is crazy Gege should've had her in a coma at the end of season 1 or early season 2. THEN when Kenny activates the spell or whatever have her be taken over.
