Life hits you fast :wow:

This is exactly how he plays, like he learned the game by doing a bunch of drills. Nothing I've seen him do on the court looks instinctual or has that fluidity that you get from just hooping on the playground on the regular and learning how to react to different shyt, or picking up nuances from other people's game. He seem like he go in autopilot and get into these dribble combinations he learned in these drills when the shyt ain't called for. Over the years I've started to regard feel for the game more than just about any other attribute in basketball. He just don't seem to have it.

Repped. Exactly the same thoughts came to mind for me, too. His pops deserves damn near ALL the blame .

Exactly. All that shyt doesn't matter, and as a defender all you have to do is stay stationary while he dribbles in circles in one spot.

:unimpressed:

that's how they teach today's kids breh. 2 ball dribbles, and every damn fancy dribble combos you can think of.

this lil boy would've been a decent hooper and prolly got into a decent college if he was a foot taller. but lil boy is a midget without serious hops or reach. he might as well practice those drills and be like my nikka

most hoopers nowadays have that tense robotic style

built by drills designed by weirdo trainers

when you see a player that moves with comfortable body.language it stands out

ja.morant for instance came up running in his backyard on a court his pops built

ja got dance.moves like a nyc playground point.gawd son be styling ha

The crazy part is I can see him being a decent PG at a lower level college if he ever stopped playing like a clown. He’s short but he can attack and create for big guys and shooters. His dad just always wanted him to shoot 40 times a game.

Yeah he has some athleticism and a fairly decent jumper ... damn shame he’s been allowed to get to get this point . He probably doesn’t know any better to do anything different to help himself , which is also sad.

As a hooper — who at one time had legit hoop dreams — seeing him have access to all this top notch shyt with all the money that’s available to him, it’s upsetting that this is the product that has emerged. A damn travesty .
