Im gonna lay off this tanny debate but I think you can find tweets from opposing coaches prasing the other teams qbs every week.
Nah I agree, I'm not completely sold on Tanny but I'm gonna go to war on it either. He's put up good numbers since coming to Tennessee I cant deny, but hes been surrounded with good talent which he didnt have in MIA so people are gonna talk. It was the same with Russ. Everyone said it was Lynch and LOB and Russ has more than proven his talent by dragging trash ass rosters to the playoffs year after year.Fasho.
But breh arguing in bad faith like everyone on earth, including NFL coaches, agree with his trash takes on Tannehill. Who knew breh was so polarizing...

But when you got people saying "where was henry before Tannehill got here" like Tannhill made Henry who he is, brehs are gonna come out w/ the![]()
Thats probably just the progression of Henry and the oline(maybe) and doesnt depend on the qb at allThey feed off of each other is the point I’m trying to make with that comment lol. Henry really wasn’t like THAT before Tannehill because Mariota was trash. He wasn’t bad by any stretch, but he went from pretty good to phenomenal over night because Tannehill did come in and could hit receivers in stride. I don’t think Tannehill MADE Henry, but Tannehill’s play definitely upleveled Henry because of what defenses could schematically do given the threat of a competent QB. Likewise Henry made it so Tannehill could eat off of PA as long as he could throw accurately. Mutually beneficial relationship.
I'm not saying Tannehill is an all-pro and future HOF QB, but people acting like he's a scrub or just had a lucky season are fools. He was stuck on a terrible Dolphins team. You need talent around you to win, and he's finally gotten that in Tennessee. What is the knock on him? He can't throw deep? He's not "clutch"? He just got "lucky"?
What is the actual criticism of him?

Id say qbs rely on the rb way more than a rb relies on the qb to be successful

From Mike Tomlin (Reputable coach of the fukkboi Steelers who's never had a losing season + highly regarded as one of the more intelligent coaches in the league):
When game planning for Titans:
Let Coli Analysts tell it tho![]()

Flynn was never a starter. You can't tell me Beast Mode eats the same with Russ at QB as opposed to, say, Matt Flynn, lol.
Flynn was never a starter.
He was dominant w hasselbeck though too
Buffalo buried him in their depth chart too tho. Sometimes it's the right situation or culture not just the qb.Hypothetically speaking.
And again, that's breh point. Beast Mode was good before that but he wasn't beast mode. Cpl years when he was down in BUF, he got the same amount of carries as he would later on in SEA and wasn't getting the same YPC, and that's him at a younger & faster age.
Nobody's saying QB completely makes the RB, but it can be the diff from taking them good to great fasho. There's just no denying that the opps will defend you different if they know you got a hack back there compared to an ace.
I think CBS protected it as their marquee game that week
