The Rock is mr. Fix it. If a studio has doubts a movie will sell tickets they hire the rock. He will just about ensure they will make a small profit.

This makes me laugh, outside of FF which is making bank due to the change of direction/ensemble not any 1 person. And San Andreas (which was a fluke) he hasn't been this box office guarantee ppl make him out to be. Snitch, central intelligence, Hercules, pain/gain, baywatch and gi Joe were all flops. And jumanji will be too, dude is overexposed like a mofo and is about to be found out like Pratt was.

GI joe- though it was made for less it's box office total was practically within the same ballpark

Hercules-budget was 100 mill it did 244mill ww If that's not a flop

Central intelligence- you have 2 supposed stars at their apex collaborate, rock fresh off ff7 and Hart off his shyt and 220mill WW is suppose to be the ceiling? are we grading him on a curve now? I thought he was a BO saviour?

Baywatch- was made with 70 mill it's at 151 like Hercules a lot of advertising also went into it. Fresh off being all in FF8 and this is what he pulls?


He's a bigger draw than the likes of pine and a lot of these clowns but he's not the BO tourniquet y'all are making out

I had no intention of ever seeing this, but with a decent tomato score I said fukk it and went to a matinee

It wasn't bad. 6/10 maybe. It was formulaic but mildly entertaining. Decent action sequences outside of the scattered crap CGI.

The concept actually isn't bad if they hadn't shoehorned it as a Jumanji sequel.

I caught it in 3D, didn't know what to expect, never saw the 1st Jumanji, and I liked it.
