Maybe I’m :flabbynsick: But this year makes 2014 sound like 1995:yeshrug:
2014 was a good year

the most underrated of the last decade and for sure better than 2012/2013/2019. you had

I honestly don't know how y'all are remembering specific years like 2014, 2017, 2018....etc

Individual years in rap music stopped standing out to me a long time ago, and it's just been an ongoing era of wackness for like a decade. But sure, I'll say this one was the worst yet

My memory is on point..

2014 was ok year....

I was bumping Chief Keef mixtapes..I became a fan of his that year

Gucci Mane was still releasing projects from prison, I waited for every release date faithfully

Shy Glizzy's Young Jefe was cool

I didn't like Signed To The Streets 2 by Lil Durk

2017 wasn't my favorite year because I was sad..

I was playing Chief Keef's Dedication and Drake's More Life

2018 was meh.. .

69 made that year awful

I loved that YG album lol...

Playing GTA5 on the PS3 gave me a new appreciation for it.

I also played 80s Baby by Young scooter and then Monster by Future on that Halloween 2014.

BTFD2 stayed in rotation for me

It's so crazy but back in 2005 I thought it was a dark time for Hip Hop with all that snap music with Laffy Taffy and Crank That.

Looking back I would kill to have some of music and albums we had back then.

I've aged out of following rap regularly years ago and now am more of a casual listener of new shyt while checking for legacy artists.

I aint with this new shyt. I will find myself bumpin some new shyt. But my head is in other genres and rnb to be honest. Or whatever thundercat and black puma be doing.

Rap has been, man i have no words. The substance and the creativity is gone. Not completely. Also the great artist haven released enough to equal out the doodoo.
