This is moving the goalposts....the "state of black women" has everything to do with socio-economic status, and their peer environment and immediate cohort relationships. You think if Black women grew up on average with 100,000$ of family wealth like white people do, they wouldnt, on average, make better decisions and have better men to choose from? You also have this ridiculous intellectual blind spot of acting as if us as black men are all out here making the right moves, as we somehow, simultaneously, fill prisons.
Black women are leading the way of all racial and gender categories when it comes to college enrollment. Guess there are some sistas out there doin somethin right! So shocking!

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with disagreeing with me or anyone else. There IS away that adults can disagree and it still be a civil conversation. That was the point of my post. Is it really that hard to understand?
Again, I participate academic dialogues about subjects that people on here try to tackle. Other participants come from all different backgrounds; therefore, it's usually not a big "yes" fest. People disagree with each other (including me) all the time. However, the responses don't revolving around saying things like "I don't even have to read that to know it's bullshyt." Additionally, in adult conversations, when people don't understand what you're saying they ASK FOR CLARIFICATION instead arguing about things you NEVER SAID to begin with.
I'm sorry if you are offended, but most of the men on this board are too stupid or too immature to participate in adult conversations.
All im saying is our girlfriends, wives, mothers stand by us men. Even when we dont treat them as good as they should be, or do the right things at times. We provide for them, we protect them. After we're gone then what? Who will provide for protection for these women? It seems that they get too much hate for getting up on their own two feet and still take care of business but do they have a choice when us men are being conditioned to think they need to be a bad bytch, or a freak in the bed or be anything other then themselves?

You just absolved black women of being responsible for the state of black women...you just gave black women a pass to say "yeah it is okay for me to make bad decisions...cause I'm not white...and I didn't grow up in a rich house...and I see bad images of me on TV...so yeah I am just fukked and there is noting i can do might as well not even make an attempt..." That enrollment in college thing can be looked at in so many ways that it is not worth even typing about...you tell me they lead in college enrollment...i tell you that college is something that is a calculated risk...you can go into so much debt that you can effectively ruin your life before you are old enough to drink alcohol in the US...you can spend your entire life paying back a college debt...for a sheet of paper that could lead you to nowhere...so when you tell me that black women lead the charge in groups of people who are willing to take this extraordinary risk...well

That is a hard question. I like it better in regard to my personal life (teaching k12 is very time intensive) and my ability to think and work freely. However, I do miss working with children and actually being in the community. My students and their parents loved me. Undergrads can pretty much take your leave you...they are just ready to get through the lecture.
