just cop as many as you can breh. a property is a property, you can tell the dudes in this thread were never good at the monopoly game. not everyone can own boardwalk you feel meso if I bought my $1 house, is it livable or are they all trap houses with nothing but gangstas and bodies in dem
This what makes buying the houses in Detroit so difficult, especially as an out-of-state investor who's not there all the time. Trash dumped on the yard is on you, housing not up to code is on you. Any fixtures you do put in are liable to get jacked within the week. all that plus property taxes it's just not as easy as it seems with detroitNot to mention, the city may fine you for owning a rundown house and force you to fix it.
I could do all the work myself...

yeah eventually it will rich white people will eventually buy everything up rebuild it and poor people will be gone but he will have to sit on this for some time also will have to pay property taxthats crazy. if there were some indication of detroit somehow going on an economic and social upswing, people would be getting rich soon. too bad detroit is a toilet.

Fatality. The fixtures will get robbed with the quickness bytype dudes. Better get you a rock solid Deebo type property manager who rides with the shotty and don't mind puttin' in work, otherwise even the f*ckin' wood for the stairs is gonna get jacked

Crime is high and you have to worry about gang members squatting in your property.
