Nah, it's trash breh.

Not only is it cheaply made, but the battery life is short as fukk also. Sony clearly cut corners to get that PS4 to $400 at launch.

Heatsink inside is trash, fan is not enough to cool the system, thermal paste applied inside is trash, and the internal PSU was a mistake as well.

I know the Sony brigade on here will try to disagree, but these are all facts. Sony is the one with the hardware issues this gen.

If it's not enough to cool the system there'd be mass overheating problems, as it turns out. There isn't because most people put their consoles and pcs in open spaces.

There are PLENTY of overheating issues and the APUs in the system are dying. It's the BLOD phenomenon now.

Your battery counter is bs, the DS3 had a much better battery life in comparison. That light coming out of the control should have the option to be turned off

You can disable the LED by disassembling it.

The thumbstick issue was fixed. Battery life being horrific is absolutely overblown. No one plays their shyt 24/7 and it charges rather quickly as well with anything that has a mini usb. AA batteries in 2015 is no excuse IMO.

if you're concerned about the DS4 battery life, the pick up one of the Easy ACC from Amazon or some other store

if your battery gets low while you're playing, plug that in so you don't have to stop your game and wait for it to charge

I actually think the way Microsoft handles it is better. Have a problem with your batteries you can grab a couple of rechargeable ones cheap instead of possibly having to replace the controller.
