Just copped that new Epson 4K projector...

Plays 4K and HDR content for under 4K..... Upgrading my current theatre joint with this bad boy. Going to hook up a Microsoft Xbox One S and an Nvidia Shield 4K to this bad boy.

I'll post impressions and video in this thread after its installed tmw.

Not sure but i doubt it. However if you get those expensive diamond black screens im sure you'd get decent results.

Yup. TV looks nice but can't do real 4K. shyt was hella overpriced also. Seriously considering replacing it with one of those new 4k Samsung's they selling for 999. I paid 2500 for that Sony too!

I ended up just putting it in the bedroom and got this years top end Sony...I considered that Samsung but the ones I saw in store had too much flashlighting on the panels.

shyt was way too distracting....other than that they're really nice TV's especially for the price.

Projector allows you to go big. Up to 150 inches.

4K TV is better deal. you can get a 65 inch for 999 now.

I thought those Epson's didn't do native 4k? That's why I just copped a TV instead until we got some native 4K projectors since the Sony Native 4Ks are rediculously expensive

3 stacks too rich for my blood right now. Gotta stick with this 1080p epson . Soon though.

It's not native but it employs pixel to achieve safe effect. All reviews put it's visuals on par with 10k Sony projectors. Plus the fact it does HDR is key. Many more expensive projectors don't do that.
